Price
We put request for extended stay but it’s denied. Hotel seems not busy as well. They brought down all belongings. There is not general courtesy of 15 to 30 minutes wait before we confirm check out. And also we checked in morning 1am. No courtesy.

We were prepared to overlook things like a sink that wouldn't drain or housekeeping not addressing our room after the first night.
But the shine was taken off by their not having a working ice maker. The clerk who checked us in said it had been broken for a few days and they couldn't provide any ice because their maintenance man had been called out of town by a family emergency. This was added to, by the tiny frig in the room, which wouldn't freeze anything.
But the kicker was when we were checking out two days later and said how much the lack of ice had effected us. The woman at the desk then said they had ice available right along and the first clerk shouldn't have said that.

Most everything was acceptable
Our first experience at this Best Western was the super friendly receptionist. Not only was she a great conversationalist, but she made sure we knew everything about the hotel we would need to do. The hotel was pretty packed because of a big baseball tournament, but our room was really quiet AND we were on the first floor. The continental breakfast was really good as well, so no complaints there. The hotel does look a little worn in spaces - doors, popcorn ceiling peels, but nothing horrible. We had a good night's sleep. My only complaint was that the gym was very limited and the equipment was not working properly. It was a really small space, so we were lucky that our family was the only one there at the time. It did seem a bit pricey, but we did stop on a week-end, and there was that tournament in town. Easy on/off the interstate if you're traveling.
Staff was exceptional! They were friendly & helpful. They made security a top priority. The property was clean & comfortable. Breakfast was very good & well stocked. I was very happy with my stay & will stay again when I'm in Wichita.
Nothing. Everything about my stay was amazing.
The front desk manager found a spot for me to park my Uhaul and trailer at 10:30pm when I arrived. Continental breakfast was excellent to get me started for the day.
