Pros:

Room was fine, clean and as expected. Low rating is due to the worst front desk from 2 weeks of various hotel stays and all pleasant without incident. Several erroneous answers to questions and arguing with me over the room that I reserved and was in my confirmation. Then also when requested water, told they did not do that anymore even though I am Diamond Elite status and clearly states that get points or water/snack. The rude smirks by staff did not go unnoticed.

We'll tay here when ever we have stay near by (we drive from No Cal to Salem OR) for fam.
Pros:

We arrived at 1130 pm and the staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was so clean, and especially wonderful after driving 6 hours and arriving late. In the morning, staff at the front desk was again friendly and helpful. I was so impressed with the young adults on duty at the front desk. I was grateful for a clean room and bathroom and comfortable lodging!

Pros:

Luckily I had booked a room 45 minutes before we were arriving. One king standard. When we checked in, the only room left was the king with another bedroom. We were given that nice room at the standard king price. The gentleman was very nice at checkin. We like Holiday Inn Express.

They facility was very nice but the staff was not pleasant.

Rooms were clean and looked updated and nice.

Cons:

I reserved and paid for a King Bed and when I got there it was two Queen beds. When I came down and let the front desk women know that, she said that it's because I booked through Booking.com and not directly with the property. She blamed it on Booking .com and said they don't let her know what was reserved. She did not offer to move me to a King bed room.

I liked the fact that it was a block away from the festival ( SOSWING 2026 ) I was attending.
Pros:

The Breakfast was fine. The pool and hot tub were comfortable. Very clean and comfortable overall

Cons:

We could've had a hot water station in the room. There was just one for coffee and not for tea. Also, the fridge froze my food solid.

Easy on/off to Interstate. Easy check in. Friendly staff
Pros:

It is located about an 8 hr drive from Seattle to San Francisco. Good break point. Very convenient on/off for I-5

Cons:

No problems. Only a one night stay

Management censors your TV choices
Pros:

I just left there. The physical plant, breakfast, gym were all fine. This is about the management.

After settling in, I noticed that TV stations for MSNBC and “liberal” news media were blocked, as was Disney. FoxNews wasn’t. When I called the front desk, they said “A guest must’ve done that. Happens. We’ll have to do a hard reset later.” I tried to do it myself but couldn’t bypass the password protection. (“4547” didn’t even work!)

At checkout the next morning, a diffferent desk person told me “Yeah, guests do that. I can’t help you. They have to reset the TV.”
Looking up the hotel on Yelp, it seems that the manager has blocked those channels for years. And the staff knows, and are lying to you.

I’m not rabidly political, but it’s not right to censor our DirectTV options based on the owner’s beliefs without a heads-up when booking. It’s certainly not consonant with “freedom” and also sits in the neighborhood of “didn’t get what you pay for.” If my kids had wanted to watch the Disney channel, the owner decided that I can’t.
