Very friendly and extremely helpful staff. The receptionists are fantastic 😍

Hotellet ger en lyxig känsla med fantastisk personal. Rummet var stort med utsikt mot floden. Sängen utmärkt skön. Tyst. Frukostbuffén hade allt man kan önska. Det var nära promenadavstånd till den vackra staden och museet. Vi kommer gärna tillbaka.

Great location on the edge of Gdansk Old Town with limited secure on-site parking. The Podewils is a beautiful old building, but I wouldn’t class it as a 5* - there is no elevator, the rooms are a little tired, and the breakfast is fair but not 5*.

Veldig hyggelig personale i resepsjonen og til frokosten. God frokost, og nydelig oppdekket med stoffservietter og ekte sølvbestikk! Også mulighet å sitte ute i hagen ved elven. Koselig og lite hotell med masse sjarm og fantastisk utsikt til gamlebyen. Hotellet er bygd i 1727, og selv om det er rent og fint vedlikeholdt, så er det litt støvlukt på rommet. Vi ble oppgradert fra dobbeltrom til suite ved ankomst, en veldig hyggelig overraskelse. Flott og antikk innredning. Hvis du ønsker et hotell med glimrende beliggenhet i gamlebyen, og ønsker noe med mer stil og klassisk eleganse er dette hotellet perfekt. Lobbyområdet er imidlertid lite, og det er ikke noe kaffi eller annen servering utenom frokost.

Jeg hadde et fint opphold på hotellet. Siden jeg reiste alene, føltes det trygt å være på et så lite og oversiktlig hotell.
Betjeningen var behjelpelige med det jeg spurte om, som å bestille taxi for meg.
Jeg likte at man kan velge mellom 4 varmretter til frokost i tillegg til bufeen.
Jeg hadde rom ut mot gaten, så det var en del støy. To av vinduene var ikke mulig å lukke helt igjen.
Hotellet ligger midt i smørøyet i gamlebyen, som er en veldig stor fordel, og bygningen er gammel, historisk og sjarmerende.
Alt i alt en god opplevelse.

Meget fint hotel. God morgenmad og søde receptionister. Der var lidt problèmer med varmen på værelset med de blev straks løst da vi henvendte os.

We had a fantastic stay, and really appreciate everything the staff did to make this such an enjoyable occasion. This is a very small (10 room) boutique hotel with a lot of history and character! It’s ideally placed for the Maritime Museum and crane but is still within 10 mins walk of the old town.

This is a boutique hotel. We had a beautifully decorated room with great view. Very good breakfast. If you want something different from one of the standard hotels, this is a good choice.

This hotel is a fantastic venue for exploring the city of Gdansk. It is a clean, well decorated hotel. The staff are friendly and welcoming. I would recommend this hotel and plan to stay again next year.

Staff exceptional, thoughtful, anticipating every need. Building location appearance and history makes an awesome impression, inside and out. The room its decor, layout, view, amenities left us with a sense of luxury unsurpassed. If ever returning it will be our first choice. Exceptional

Hotel Podewils exceeded my expectations. I absolutely loved my stay there--everything about my stay was perfect; It was quiet, the staff were amazing and attentive, the breakfast was outstanding, and the room was kept cool (in summer) by a nice little ac unit. The beautiful old Manor House was tastefully and thoughtfully renovated for comfort and style. And with only 9 rooms, they really focus on each individual needs. I will definitely be back.
