The manager at the desk was quite friendly and gave me a better room in return for staying on the second floor due to the elevator being out of order. He apologized for the reservation mislabelling (see below). The room was fine and the bed was very comfortable.
I made the reservations (two rooms) for myself and my brother, using my credit card number. When I called to request early arrival, the female clerk (who was NOT friendly) could not find my reservation. Someone had put it under my brother's name instead of mine -- and hey I just happen to be female. Pretty blatant sexism. The elevator was out of order, as I mentioned, and reaching the stairways required walking all the way from my room in the middle to the far wing - why no central stairs? Finally there was not even a bar of soap in the bathroom - an oversight of housekeeping I presume.
The staff was super nice and accommodating. Breakfast was good. There were plenty of options.
The toilets were way too low. The room smelled like sweat. I had to go get an air freshener for the room. The elevator was out.
The location
That they did not honor my request. There was food left in the room from the prior person. No toiletries, a broken toilet, and broken elevator. Also, bed bugs.
The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was good
Shower was disgusting, I had to clean it myself then the water wouldn’t drain so I had to get the staff to unclog the drain. Also no ventilation in the bathroom and very little light. The carpet in the room didn’t seem like it had been vacuumed.
The location
The staff was rude and house keeping never cleaned the room. Wire's hanging out e ceiling. Pool water also looked cloudy. Breakfast was eggs that weren't cooked thoroughly and sausage links every day.

The spa bath
When it was time to check out and I wasn’t moving fast enough the staff tried to bust in on me while I was naked. Only reason they couldn’t get in is because we blocked the door with the stopper. Also, I couldn’t really sleep due to all the noise going on during the early morning.
All mostly Good
Main lobby strange smell of air freshner very strong
Very disappointing experience. Our room had only one towel for a family of four, and the microwave still had someone else’s food and plate inside, making me question how thoroughly the room had been cleaned.
The biggest issue, however, was how management treated me. After my children and I were told to leave the pool because an instructor was using it—something we were never informed about—I politely went to the front desk to express my frustration. Instead of addressing my concern professionally, the older gentleman who appeared to be management told me I was “running my mouth” and continued using profanity toward me as I walked away in front of my children.
I can understand misunderstandings about pool hours or even housekeeping mistakes. What I cannot understand is a person in a leadership position speaking to a paying guest that way, especially in front of their kids. Completely unprofessional and unacceptable. I hope upper management addresses this.
Location was good for what we had planned.
It wasn't very clean, definitely needs some renovation in the rooms and pool area.
Staff was very friendly.
The bathroom in the room Was dirty. My husband said there was something in the bathtub that he couldn't even describe. I didn't shower so I didn't see it
The clerk that took care of my check out was very cordial. She was the highlight of my stay.
Everything was fine.
The location was ideal for easy access to our destinations. It was clean and comfortable.
