Convenient & cosy hotel near train station
Pros:

Great location for the train, bus stop in front of hotel with buses into city centre

Nice room layout.

Pros:

Beds were comfortable and rooms clean

Cons:

No main room light only bedside lamps equivalent to victorian candle brightness. Desk lamp didn't work, with no time to sort before we had to be somewhere. Air con/heater was very loud.

Pros:

Room cold and small for the price, little tea and coffee, bar only a few beers and lagers. Breakfast was excellent!

The bed was really comfortable

Cons:

I was on the ground floor so there was a lot of noise in the evening from people in reception. The bathroom door opened into the very small bathroom, making getting to the loo difficult and the shower door seal was broken and hanging off. It was disappointing given the cost of the room

Pros:

The hotel was in a central location, within walking distance of the shopping areas, restaurants and bars. Everything was spotlessly clean and the staff friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and any requests actioned quickly.

Cons:

The room was very warm and it took a while to get the temp right with the AC. There are very few parking spaces for a hotel of that size and you can't book a space in advance. There is pay and display parking very close by, but only for a maximum of 4 hours.
