Ronseal - Does what it says on the tin!!
Pros:

Clean and tidy. Staff I encountered were friendly and helpful. Bed comfy, room dark. Outside was pretty quiet too. Can't fault the hotel at all.

Pros:

Room was basic but clean and very good value for money. What made this a 5 star stay for me was Angelina on reception, she went above and beyond and was extremely helpful!

Hit n miss
Pros:

Hotel staff are great and rooms are ok apart from the bed which is not great …lost alot of sleep ..never have this issue in a travelodge, better beds and ditch the mattress topper.
Cctv needs improving to cover all the car park and a automated barrier to improve security(van attempted theft on day 1).
Breakfast is great apart from 1 two slice toaster between everyone(really) and its poor,….bread is stale due to being left open.
Minor things.

Good, could be better, good value.
Pros:

Great rooms, nice size clean and tidy. Restaurant bit like faulty towers. Running round like headless chickens! All in all for the money you can’t knock it. I would stay again. Not my first choice though.
Need to be a little more calm and it would be perfect for the money.

Good but not so good
Pros:

The hotel is very convenient from the M1 but is very basic the food is not good at all and is frozen and then served. There was no soft drinks on tap we paid for breakfast and was told it is served from 6am when we came down for breakfast we was told it is only from 8am so we left as we was not going to wait 2 hours for food still no response from the hotel to offer a refund

Restaurant needs to be reviewed
Pros:

Checkin quick and easy. Placed the car registration into the screen located at reception to avoid a charge. Informed of the breakfast time and also I was asked if I would like to book a table for the evening meal as they will get busy. Informed that last orders for food would be 21:00, so I booked my table for 20:30. Room clean and spacious. Had a pre drink prior to my meal and when I asked at 20:35 if I could order food, I was told that they had too many orders and the kitchen was now closed for orders ( not busy at all). Thanks IBIS for my one and only stay. Hopefully breakfast will be available in the morning if not to busy.

Great value
Pros:

Never been to a Ibis hotel befoer, but was very impressed by the standards of the room and food.
I am in a wheelchair but the hotel didn't have any accessible rooms available. That didnt detract from the overall pleasant stay.
The bed was big and comfy, and the room was spacious enough to accommodate my wheelchair.
There is a large choice for breakfast, which was really nice.
The restaurant is not open for dinner on weekends, which is a pity. Never mind. There are lots of eateries nearby.
We would definitely stay at an Ibis hotel again.

Pros:

Dated rooms with very thin walls
The shower was like standing under a leaking tap
And I'm pretty sure someone went through my suitcase during my 4 day stay (can’t prove this)

3 day stay visiting family.
Pros:

Booked here to be near a family gathering, little bit concerned with reviews and it being on an industrial estate with noise etc . On arrival Emma on reception was very welcoming and was throughout our stay nothing was a problem for her and rest of staff.
We were very pleased with the room, it was clean tidy and spacious enough for our 3 nights stay, the hotel was quiet and we didn’t hear any noise. We didn’t use a lot of the facilities as we were out the hotel each day visiting family and local attractions.
This is a budget hotel and was better than we expected.
Would we stay again? Yes definitely. Many thanks to all staff
Ian & Jayne
