During the Eid holidays, we booked two rooms (405–407) at Mövenpick Dubai Creek for our family. At check-in, we were warmly welcomed and pleasantly upgraded to rooms with a nice creek view. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-equipped. I specially liked the strong, speedy shower. The service overall was very good. We needed help with a locked safe, and housekeeping responded quickly and resolved it without delay. Upon request We were also given a late check-out, which was appreciated.
The next morning, we had breakfast at Oak Restaurant in the hotel. The ambience was nice, and we found comfortable seating. We had heard a lot about their breakfast, but the experience was mixed. Many guests, including us, faced delays in refilling empty food stations, which is not what you expect from a 5-star setup. The staff were hardworking and active, but clearly understaffed. Even the supervisor was busy serving guests and taking orders, while the chef himself was bringing out dishes to refill stations with delays
The main course items were average with limited variety. We ordered a cheese omelette, which arrived late and in a small portion. Despite this, I appreciate the efforts of the few staff members who were genuinely trying their best under pressure.
The pool, however, was quite small. Even with a few people, it felt congested and did not match the impression shown in pictures, so we didn’t spend much time there.
