Nothing special- looks like they have tried to update it, but the smoke smell was terrible!
Loud voices arguing outside window. Homeless or teens hanging outside rear door, after dark.
A nice little hotel. The room was clean, and the bed was very comfortable.
When we arrived at the hotel, there was no one at the desk, and a sign that said the clerk would return shortly. I stood at the desk for about 10 minutes and then pushed the "ring" button on the counter. No one answered. After a couple of minutes, I pushed the "ring" button again, and nothing. I walked out to the car and told my husband, son, and his wife that I couldn't check in because no one was at the desk. They all proceeded to come inside with me, and we pushed the "ring" button again, and nothing. We sat in the reception area for about 20 minutes, and I got up and went back up to the desk and pushed the "ring" button AGAIN. FINALLY a lady answered and asked how she could help me. I told her that we were trying to check in, and she said that someone would be there in a few minutes. Well, after another 10-12 minutes, a man walked in the door, and my son said that it looked like he had come from the pub right next door. He asked how he could help us, and I told him that we needed to check in, and he looked on the computer for our reservation, and had me fill out a paper. After that, (which had taken about 10 minutes), I told him that we had been there for over a half an hour waiting to check in. He looked at his watch and said that it had only been 8 minutes. (I didn't want to go there, so decided to keep my mouth shut, as I knew how long we had been there). The fridge in our room didn't work, but on a good note, the beds were very comfortable.
Wasn't fancy, but it was clean and a good place to spend a night and not pay a king's ransom. I'd reccommend it for a short stay.
Great place
We had a suite-the room was huge and the bed was really comfortable.
Lights only the bathroom and one lamp worked. Room was not clean and bed made sloppy, if we were not so tired would if went somewhere else
First off this was a $100 a night room, so i wasn't expecting a five star place #1i had to wait 15 minutes for the owner to get there so i could check in, #2 window was left open 0n a 90 degree day & the air-conditioning wasn't working properly told the owner & he got it to work a bit better but not like it should have #3 apon opening the door i could immediately smell cigarette smoke, establishment was none smoking, as for cleanliness i would give it a C .
Amazing experience with a man yelling about harming someone and police being there twice. Plus the college children hanging out the cars drunk. 11/10 experience would book and recommend to friends.
I slept well
Great stay - no issues. The counter staff was great at resolving an issue for me. Thanks,
Pros: Quiet, comfortable beds, new flooring, nice staff, great water pressure, looks like they are working on updating the property.
Cons: we stayed 3 nights and there was no room servicing, very old towels, furniture needs updating, outside of the property looks sketchy.
Its was a bed and shower while we were at Inkcarceration and wasn't a bad drive. No bugs, no daily turndown which is not a huge deal, shower pressure wasnt great but water was hot
When I initially checked in I was given the wrong room type and that room featured scrap lumber in the window channel to secure the window from being slid open from the outside. (Room was on the ground floor.). I went back to the desk and requested the correct room type. This room had a broken desk chair, yellowed sheets on the bed with a mattress that felt like a cardboard box and mismatched, antiquated furniture throughout. This property overall had a shabby, run-down appearance and the entrance to the second room I was assigned had a step down just off the threshold that was a trip and fall hazard. I actually turned the keys in without completing the overnight stay, the room and overall property were that bad.
Needed a place to sleep and shower after doing a fireworks show, towels were stained, room furniture damaged, doors damaged, no secondary lock on room door, no breakfast option either in house or at the "restaurant" (bar) attached. Bed was really squeaky and no elevator to the second floor, which while normally not a big deal (we're able bodied) we were already exhausted and didn't appreciate having to add stairs to end our night.
The room and property was nice but our room was not fully cleaned when we got there. Food was left in the refrigerator and cupboard from previous guests. Floors were not swept as well. Probably just an oversight but other than that it was quiet and the the beds were comfortable.
They don't have a breakfast or a place to get water. Other than that it wasn't bad.
Old furnishings and hotel needs a major update.
We reserved the room . Went to check in. No attendant at desk. Rang ring doorbell 3 times. Waited in the lobby 20 minutes. No one ever came. The place smells clean and looks nice but couldn't actually stay or fill our reservation since no one ever came to check us in
