There was water on the floor when we got to our room and the staff just gave us towels. Then we could tell when we were walking that water was coming up from the floor

Pros:

We booked for the (pool) slide, but we'll go back for the breakfast! The lady who runs breakfast--Jo--was so wonderful! She clearly cares about feeding people. The breakfast bar was well stocked, even to the end of breakfast, and she was sincerely kind. We've stayed at a lot of similar places and have never been treated so well! The hotel also keeps iced lemon water and tea out and available.

This place is a dump!
Pros:

Breakfast was okay.

Cons:

The room smelled like mold. The shower didn't work. The TV didn't work. There were no trash cans in the room. The property is located on a noisy street.

Pleased with the stay, felt like a safe enough location and far off I-70

Fine place to stay, little thing that would have been nice is a soap holder, washcloth holder in shower.
It looked like remodeling was happening and forgot a couple tiny things like that.

Wonderful place to stay.
Pros:

We loved all the 4th of July decorations! They really did it up!
The staff did a wonderful job at making us feel welcomed. All of the staff were kind. That says a lot for the leadership at this location.

It was a pleasant stay. The variety at the complementary breakfast was great.
Pros:

The staff was really kind and helpful. We were there for my daughter’s wedding. We needed 2 rooms and the receptionist made sure that we were across from each other.

Cons:

The property was under renovation.
It did not hinder our stay though.
I forgot my toothbrush and there were not any at the check in desk. Thankfully there was a gas station in walking distance that had a toothbrush.
There was an odd smell in my room that I eventually got used to.

Breakfast was excellent! A lot to choose from.

Cons:

Not well lit, was under construction in much of the area. Pool was green. All of this may have been due to the storm that came through a couple weeks before. But it was a bit outdated.

Pros:

Convenient, comfortable, good value. Very good. Breakfast

Cons:

They are remodeling, so some debris and dust. That was fine, but there was trash outside the building, including the patio area. We stayed here a few times several years ago, and the facilities were too-notch. It was just not the same.
