Nice hotel with friendly staff and great pool!
Pros:

This hotel perfectly met our needs. Our room was large and very clean. We arrived to find the sofa bed had already been made up for our daughter, which was a nice change from other hotels that required us to wrestle with the bed and make it up ourselves after a late arrival. Staff were helpful and pleasant, the food in the restaurant/bar was tasty, and we all loved the pool and spa. The hotel was near several bus stops and a commuter rail station, and was only a 20-minute walk from the business district.

Cons:

I would have liked to have had a fridge in the room so we could keep cold water and snacks on hand. My husband and daughter had breakfast one day and thought it was underwhelming especially given that it was kind of expensive.

Loved my stay at this hotel. And will definitely be back again
Pros:

The stay at this hotel.was.amazing.My meal.at night really good and the guys were great who served me. The room was nice and adequate, clean and comfy. The facilities were great to use. Staff were friendly and was a nice hotel...

Cons:

Nothing really just gutted of the price hike because of the concert and hopefully will.stay when can get it for a better rate. But thats my problem as I knew that would happen. But really shame that hotels need to put it up so high when a big event on as not everyone is going to the same things...and parking away from the hotel with luggage is a wee bit of a pain,I would imagine having their own car park would be an advantage for them and better for customers....

It would have been good to know there was (limited) parking available next the hotel. It appeared when we booked the onl
Pros:

Well situated and had stayed there before

Cons:

Nothing. We had to ring the bell to get through the front door at 11 pm for a late check in and waited 5 minutes before a resident let us in - no staff answered 😕

It was fine and gave us the opportunity to rest after our West Highland Way walk
Pros:

Room was fine; bed was good; loved the extra big bathroom towels.

Cons:

I thought it was going to be more centrally located. We had to walk through pretty gritty area to get into the town center.

Would recommend and we would stay again.
Pros:

Bed was super comfortable, they upgraded us on arrival from superior double to a suite. Staff were helpful, friendly and courteous. Suite was soon warm when we put the radiator on and all parts were very clean.
Didn't try dinner or breakfast as we were eating out.
Hotel only a 15 min walk to Glasgow Central station.

Cons:

Someone had smoked in our room beforehand and as non-smokers we could smell it. Staff were apologetic, had fined the previous occupants but it did put a damper on the stay but not for long. They did their best to sort it out.

Short enjoyable stay
Pros:

The facilities were very good. Other than one member of staff, the rest were friendly, helpful and professional.

Cons:

I had two rooms booked for two days, but because of a change in holiday itinerary, I tried to cancel one and was told I would still have to pay for both days. I decided not to cancel and checked in online. In any event we arrived at the hotel at 1:00pm and was told we could not check into the room that we had paid for. The young man on reception was rude and aggressive and said even though we had paid for the room and checked in online we had missed the slot for checking in! I asked to see the manager and Anne Marie came to the reception and very quickly checked us in with polite efficiency. I am not going to name the young man, but if he remains front of house, he needs quite a bit more training.

Pros:

Staff was pleasant, room was comfortable. Cleanliness good and enjoyed pool area.

Cons:

Was told to call the bar to place an order for restaurant, but rang with no answer. Then was told had to come down to order only to go back to pick it up . . . so we just didn't eat. For the amount charged per night, should be some type of room service to accommodate guests. Should be adult hours for the pool area.
