I never checked in due to renovations
Cons:

It was doing renovations & it doesn’t tell you on the site. It is in the middle of what appears to be a bad neighborhood. I didn’t check-in. I requested to cancel but they charged me full price anyway 😡

Great stay!
Pros:

Spacious room and delicious breakfast.

Cons:

Everything was good but im gald they are renovating the hotel. You can tell it's an older hotel and it needs a modern look. The beds could use a mattress topper for more comfort.

Holiday Inn Express Lake Charles was in a great location for a wedding.
Pros:

We were attending a wedding in Lake Charles and the Holiday Inn Express worked out just fine for our trip.

Cons:

Breakfast was so so but certainly adequate for a hotel breakfast. Would have like some fresh fruit.

As soon as i walked in the room, it smled really bad. It has an old wood/ almost mildew smell. The vents in the ac were filthy and dirty.
