Residence Inn By Marriott Flint

Staff was friendly. Room was in desperate need of renovation. Carpet was sticky and taped down in places. Overall, cleanness was lacking. Other parts of the hotel were under renovation. Unsure of why they are still renting the older rooms.

This hotel should be closed for renovations, it’s filthy and undergoing a full refit. It’s a shame that brands like this don’t see the damage they do to themselves and their guests renting rooms in filth like this.

The Lobby had scaffolding set up and plastic draped over everything. We had to enter location of room from outside and the security passage was broken. When we enter the hallway to the elevator there was drywall leaning against the wall and construction dust on the carpet. The room was very old, but clean. The bathroom tub around the edges had black mold. The air conditioner came on and there was a constant loud noise. I called the receptionist, and she said no other room was available and would try and move us in the morning. She also said the Inn was in "Dire Condition"!
No sleep that night after traveling all day
The next morning no breakfast because of the Lobby construction. I asked for a refund and was told no. We checked out and went to another hotel.
I did not check the reviews, believe in Expedia and Marriott. The reviews are terrible, and this facility should have been removed for Expedia website until it was within their standards!

Room had carpet stains and smoke alarm is not hooked up in living room. Vanity light doesn't work. Freezer ice maker tray not in the freezer. No chairs for the dining table. Couch has no pillows and is very uncomfortable. Will never stay at this location every again. Reminder...IM A MARRIOTT REWARDS MEMBER.

The carpet was soaking wet in our room and squished under our feet when we walked. You had to wear shoes the entire time.

Overall the stay was wonderful. The room was clean, but the beds could have been comfortable. There was a dirty wash cloth and hand towel hanging up on the towel rack

Nice just need updates which they are in the process of doing

This property was unclean, and unsafe. The exterior door to the property would not close. Although there were "no smoking" signs visible on the property the hotel smelled of marijuana. Even though my wife and I have stayed in this property before we will never do so again.

The hotel was very outdated, smelly and dirty,the couch and beds were not comfortable, i reserved a roll in shower and did not get that , the handicapped accessible pool chair was not functioning, guy told me they not fixing it , had to ask for pool towels , the website advertised a hot tub , it didn't have one , the tv was broke in one of the rooms, they did eventually bring another tv , breakfast attendant was rude .the only thing that was decent was the desk staff they were friendly

Overall the property was nice a little dated but nice. Only issue i had was not knowing about the 100 dollar deposite. Second issue was my room door kept getting stuck

This hotel is now a party hotel and disgusting! Needs renovating! The front desk lady was a saint but I’ve got pictures to show stains broken couches it was nasty once a beautiful place

Didn't even stay found cockroachs all throughout the room, hallways, and even pool room. Even after complaining and leaving, they still didn't clean the pool area

Disappointing. Room is old and dingy. Furniture is worn like I've never seen. Bed was okay at best, buy buy some new sheets please, Something that fits. Carpet is stained, kitchenette flooring is buckling, one elevator didn't work. How in the world can you leave me coffee and tea makings WITHOUT a carafe for the coffee maker, AND no cups anyway. Breakfast was free and worth every penny.

On quick glance the hotel is fair, but you can't hide this much lack of care very deep. This is an old and tired property badly in need of updating. But, the lady at check in was terrific.
