Pros:

The location for us was perfect.

Cons:

The shower head was really loose from the wall, and the trim in the bathroom was off. For what we paid, I felt the room should have been in tip top shape.

Disappointing
Pros:

The property was nice location to all the places we wanted to visit. However my husband became ill and we had to leave a day early. You would not refund our last day. Even after the desk clerk said they would. First we were told since we booked 3rd party that was the reason. Then after they approved it. We were still denied. I’m very disappointed with this company and I will be cautious before I stay at Holiday Inn again. I believe if your clerk told us we would not be charged. We should be refunded. Very disappointed. I will continue to pursue this. Taking advantage of a disabled person is just not right.

We plan on visiting Reading again and will gladly stay at this hotel!
Pros:

Location was nice and quiet. Away from the hub bub but close enough to everything we wanted to explore. The staff was very nice and friendly. The room was clean and the beds and pillows very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and filling. We might have to stay a couple of days next time to take in more sights!

Cons:

The air conditioner could use a check up, it didn't get very cold in the room but good otherwise.

Pros:

I felt welcomed when I walked into the hotel. The breakfast was great. The room was clean and I love all the lights it made the room so much brighter and not dim like some hotels.

LOVE EVERYTHING!! Next time i go, ill go to the gym and gym!!

The fact that my room had a door where i heard the other people next door, a little loud for my experience, but got quiet before 10 which is good, but in the morning they started talking very loud like around 7 AM , BUT OVERALL I LOVE THE PLACE AND THEIR STAFF !!

Cons:

Under reconstruction. Very hard to park. Noises. Workers everywhere. We put in for a late checkout, confirm led it AND had a do not disturb on the door - but staff were pounding on the door 30 minutes before regular check out - “just to ask if we needed towels”. This was super annoying and manipulative.

Pros:

The room was clean and the breakfast was wonderful.

Cons:

It wasn’t as updated as I would have liked and given the price of the stay. Our TV was outdated and the remote didn’t work at all. The morning desk person wasn’t so friendly but the evening desk person was pleasant.
