FAB HOTEL IN A GREAT SPOT
Pros:

The decor, the great bar, fantastic position, brilliant staff who were welcoming & helpful. Music on Thurs night was a bonus.

Cons:

The Standard Room was VERY small so we had to upgrade for an extra €90 per night. Don't go STANDARD it's just not worth it.

Posizione imbattibile e camera dotata di ogni comfort

Ho soggiornato in una camera al primo piano, luminosa e con un piacevole affaccio su una stradina caratteristica e tranquilla. Ho apprezzato molto il rifornimento quotidiano di cialde per il caffè e di acqua gratuita. L'aria condizionata era silenziosa ed efficace, un dettaglio davvero piacevole. Molto comodi anche i dispenser di sapone, shampoo, balsamo e crema corpo in bagno, oltre alla presenza di accappatoio e ciabattine. Il vero punto di forza dell'hotel è senza dubbio la posizione: proprio di fronte alla fermata della metro Gran Vía e nel cuore della città, comodissima per visitare Madrid.

Cons:

L'unico aspetto che inizialmente mi aveva lasciata un po' perplessa era la porta comunicante con la camera accanto, perché al mio arrivo sentivo una persona parlare al telefono. Il personale si è però subito reso disponibile a cambiarmi camera. Alla fine ho preferito rimanere nella stessa perché mi piaceva di più e, fortunatamente, il problema non si è più ripresentato: per il resto del soggiorno la camera è stata tranquilla e non ho più sentito rumori dalla stanza accanto. Un prezzo più conveniente per chi soggiorna da solo nelle camere Basic sarebbero un valore aggiunto.

Perfect location in the heart of Madrid.
Pros:

This is the perfect hotel in the perfect location. We book 2 rooms for our family of 4 and both rooms were spotless, cozy and exactly what we needed. The location of this hotel is what really puts it over the top. I’m walking distance to everything and right in the heart of it all. This is a must stay location

H10 Villa de la Reina, a wonderful hotel in the heart of Madrid
Pros:

A great hotel in a great location on the Gran Via in the heart of Madrid. The lobby is a wonderful respite from the heat, and is very tastefully furnished.
We noticed local
people coming in for a drink at night, which is always a great sign. Also the food at the bar was great quality and very good value, certainly recommend the nachos and stir fried veg with shrimps. (prawns)
We had a room facing the street on the fourth floor. Once you closed the window at night it was very quiet. Extremely comfortable bed, and mugs and extra milk arrived in our room when we requested them.
The breakfast was fantastic, lots of choice and the eggs, scrambled or fried, were gorgeous. Definitely include the breakfast in your stay.
Gonzalo, a student working at the hotel for the summer, was very welcoming every day.
A taxi from the airport is a set rate of euros 33, and well worth it.
