Beautiful hotel in excellent location with very nice accommodations
Pros:

Location was fantastic, beautiful building, beautiful lobby. We didn’t have breakfast but it looked very nice. Beds were comfortable and the staff were fantastic.

Cons:

The room was very plain and basic, good enough but I was surprised by how un-plush the room was.

Nice hotel but small rooms.
Pros:

Smart, clean, lovely reception/bar area for teas/coffee/cocktails & light food. Very central, everything walkable from here. Nice extras like water bottles refilled daily, dressing gowns…

Cons:

Rooms are rather small. A standard room had no drawers, 1 v small wardrobe, and we couldn’t open its doors properly, not enough space. We moved to a luxury room (paying extra) which was ok size-wise, still not generous, but with v small bathroom.

Tout est parfait !!
Pros:

Tout est parfait, tant le personnel que le petit déjeuner, la chambre est hyper confortable et spacieuse

Cons:

LA chambre manquait un peu de luminosité mais pas de gêne excessive ( chambre qui donnait sur le patio)

A Memorable Stay
Pros:

This is a glorious hotel. Once you enter the hotel, you’re greeted with relaxed luxurious surroundings. The staff are lovely, very polite and friendly.
The hotel is a boutique hotel and as such boutique hotel have a lovely quirkiness about them and here is no exception.
The hotel is centrally located on the Gran Via and the Gran Via Metro station is approximately 100m away.
We arrived at approximately 2130hrs, the restaurant was still serving food, so we had a lovely bowl of Penne Bolognaise.
Our room overlooked an inner courtyard. It was very clean and was spotlessly cleaned everyday. The bathroom was nice and big, the bed was big and comfortable. The wardrobe was large enough for our clothes. The bottom of the bed nearest to the bathroom is narrow, but that’s the quirkiness of the rooms.
We loved sitting in the bar area after we had come back from eating out, the wine flowing very well.
Overall it was the personal touch that impressed us. We booked for our anniversary and were surprised and delighted when the hotel delivered a bottle of Cava and some chocolates to our room to celebrate our anniversary.
There are some works going on in the hotel but they won’t affect your stay as they’re being carried out during the day.
A beautiful hotel, a lovely memorable stay made even better by the lovely staff. We’ll be staying here again when we come back.

Small break to celebrate the end of the Good Lady Wifes Chemo
Pros:

Staff: Very friendly and professional, and responded well to any queries.
Room: Very clean and had everything that you would need, although it was somewhat small, but then we were in a Hotel in a big city
Breakfasts were really good but not able to comment on evening meals as we didn't eat there. (Although I am not even sure they do evening meals)
The ambiance of the Hotel was very warm, friendly and relaxing and it was well placed in the centre of Madrid, and we would certainly stay here again
