This was our first hotel on our multi week SE Asia trip and I am writing this review at the end of the trip to accurately compare the hotels we stayed in.
The hotel rooms are large and have great amenities, like robes and coffee makers in the room. In fact, this was the only hotel on our trip that had a coffee maker in the room. The buffet breakfast was also fantastic. The hotel is in a great location by the lake so you can walk to a number of cafes and restaurants.
Great choices for breakfast. Very good lake outlook.
Nothing much although we didn’t discover any good restaurants within walking distance. This was offset by the options on site.
Great location
Comfortable bed
Didn’t have some breakfast items available upstairs on level 17 such as orange juice & hollandaise sauce at breakfast time
Didn’t have milk available in the rooms to make a cup of tea
Nice staff, clean room
I booked the room for my boss and He has stayed here many times. The hotel should review the quality of the food. It is the worst food among all the 5-star hotels in Hanoi.
We upgraded to get a great refurbished room overlooking the lake. The bathroom was super smart. It had one of those loos that warms the seat when you sit on it and has a multitude of functions. I didn't use any of them, but it amused us.
Great toiletries in the bathroom, really good quality.
The hotel is a bit of a walk to train street, but we found it easily doable.
The best entertainment is sitting at a table in breakfast looking at the traffic below. Extraordinary how we witnessed no accidents despite the chaos.
Loved my stay ,booked it for a one night stay before departure as it is about half hour from airport ,breakfast is at 6.30 pm so it’s convenient for early flight ,also very close to Pagoda , room was very nice ,had dinner at Pacifica restaurant( great food ) downstairs followed by drink at sky bar and breakfast was well .Thanks to Hoang ( wonderful check in at lounge ) ,Vy (restaurant ) ,Duka (lounge ) and Van all for making our stay memorable.
Rooftop bar is amazing - gym and pool are good
Buffet is good but not excellent
Enjoyed our stay. Lovely room with views over West Lake. Really enjoyed the sky bar, great cocktails, stunning views across the city and a relaxed ambience. The breakfast area could be a little crowded at peek times, but we always got a table. Would definitely stay again.
Thuận tiện cho công việc
Phòng chưa thật sự cách âm. Vẫn nghe thấy tiếng động đi lại bên ngoài
Great property supported by amazing staff especially in the Pacific Lounge on the 17 floor with Reena, Yen, Long and Thomas who catered to me with exceptional service. Thank you
Good location and the rooms are spacious and comfy with view of lake though hotel is a little way out the centre area, and we need to walk about 25 to 30 minutes. The hotel staff were helpful, and friendly and the breakfast was ideal.
3 night stopover at the Pan Pacific Hotel. The hotel is next to the West Lake, the Red River and Truc Bach Lake. As an additional bonus we stayed during the new year celebrations and were able to watch the surrounding fireworks at midnight from the top floor.
Although we felt the hotel was a little way out the centre area was walkable in about 25 to 30 minutes. The hotel staff were helpful and friendly and the food was ideal. Our rooms were serviced every day and we experienced no issues.
Overall, a decent hotel which I would stay at again if needed.
Nice hotel although the room smelt a bit musty. The shower is a bit odd, fitted at a strange angle and over the bath. You do need to be fairly able bodied to get in and out of the bath to use the shower.
The roof top bar was lovely and the staff are great. The breakfast is amazing, I’ve never seen so much choice.
Decent standard as Pan Pacific is a given but rooms are now quite old. Good location with view of lake. Bf is good and I joined a company event with hundreds of people at banquet place and food was excellent! I was really impressed by level of food for such a large party (300+ people).
Nice gym and indoor pool area.
Rooms are good but a bit old. That’s the o ly part separating from a 5. Otherwise well worth a stay. Have stayed before and would stay again.
Probably the best city hotel in Hanoi when it comes to location and service quality! The service staff members in the Pan Pacific Hanoi Executive Lounge were wonderful to us. They put in their best efforts to get to know all their guests and went out of their way to provide a lot of useful information, particularly Chloe who had spent some time curating a list of places and delicacies we could try in the next port of call at Hai Phong. Duka and Minh were attentive and discrete in their service, and making sure everyone was comfortable and contented.
