The location was great for visiting museums. The room was clean.
We wished that streaming was available on the tv. They had on demand, but it would have been nice to have Netflix.
Prachtig stijlvol hotel. Supervriendelijk personeel. Fijne locatie, dicht bij Central Park en metro. Grote kamer, lekker bed, volop usb-aansluitingen.
Het was nogal prijzig, maar ja. Daarvoor zit je aan de Upper West Side. Nogal ver van vliegveld JFK.
Das Personal war super freundlich und kinderlieb. Haben beim Check out noch ein kleines Geschenk bekommen inkl. 1$ als Geste und weil man sich daran erinnern würde, brachte man uns entgegen als wir den 1$ zurückgeben wollten.
Top Lage, zentral mit der Linie 1,2 oder 3 zu erreichen und nah am Central Park

The location is fantastic. Love the fact that the rooms have kitchenettes. If you're there with family or for an extended stay, you can hop across the street to Fairway and get provisions to cook breakfast, lunch or dinner. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful.
The lighting in the rooms is a bit dim.
No air conditioning in hall on a hot day in New York. Air conditioning in room did not work. Front desk resisted changing rooms after engineer could not fix the air conditioning. New room had working air conditioner but no hot water in shower. I’ve stayed here many times. This will be the last.
There are a lot of upsides to this hotel. Great location, close to Lincoln Center, Riverside Park, and all the UWS has to offer. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The kitchenette is a real convenience—we buy cereal, milk, and fruit across the street at Fairway, and then we are all set for a healthier and certainly less expensive breakfast than if we were eating out. Bed is comfortable, and the rooms are spacious. The primary downside is that the furnishings are old, heavy, and worn—the place feels pretty dated.
Great location; a 10 minute walk to Lincoln Center and to Central Park “Stawberry Fields” which is across from the Dakota. Received a free upgrade to a King Suite with terrific view of the Beaux Arts style Ansonia, a gem. Two small rooms adjoining. Building engineering/maintenance promptly replaced batteries so thermostat would work. Mildewy smell in the shower curtains ( replaced, lingering smell). New very soundproof windows. Room very clean, but old scuffed furniture with worn upholstery really looked out of place. Why can’t they afford newer furniture to sit on? That factor a drawback - Would be embarrassing if I had a guest. Kitchenette; did not use during my 3 night stay. No food service. Bodega nearby. Great selection of restaurants - a guide sheet they’ll give you along with personal recommendations. Steps up to elevator; not sure wheelchair accessible ( possibly a steep ramp?) Comfort and quiet. With taxes about $500 a night. Yes, I would return, especially for the neighborhood feel.
