Car parking on site although there is a €10 charge per night.
No air conditioning in the bedrooms and with temperatures in low to mid 30C this is now considered essential in hotels of this quality.
Despite the hotel being reasonably quiet our room was at second floor mansard level. The hotel only had lift access to first floor from where a single flight of 22 steps gained access to the top floor.
The hotel bar was closed by the time we returned to the hotel shortly after 9pm.
Noisy early morning builders works and refuse disposal.
Breakfast was formulaic.

Lack of air conditioning was a killer for a good night sleep. Also no bar service at 8pm due to staff shortages??? Strange..

On the very big upside, the location together with the (very tight) parking is probably the best in Arras and makes up for a lot of the shortfalls
The room and most of the building was average and a little old fashioned and tired. Never seen beds made like this with bedding on top of the mattress?
There were nowhere near enough staff and the poor chap that was there on his own when we arrived was run ragged trying to organise Parking, Check in and run the bar so at the same time - so none got done well - not for his lack of effort.
The Bar was never run particularly well due to too much staff multi-tasking, and the poor chap in his third week was trying to serve dinner to our group of a18 and run the bar. he did an amazing job, but we all felt very sorry for him.
Breakfast was ok, but kept running out and was not well attended or restocked.
No working Gents toilet in the restaurant was not very impressive.

A bit of a yak ride to get to the room, especially with luggage as the stairs are quite steep. Room was a little small and looking a bit tired. Also no walk in shower, having to step in and out of the bath, when wet is a bit precarious.
