Pros:

Breakfast was fabulous. Staff absolutely wonderful. Room had all the amenities required and more also exceptionally clean. Our spa treatments were gorgeous so relaxing.

Not among the best Sofitels / Poor value for the cost
Pros:

The hotel is housed in a beautiful building; most Sofitel perks and details are present, but amenities are limited. The gym is very small, and some equipment was out of service. I paid nearly $700 USD per night, and it feels like the value for money falls short compared to other Sofitel hotels: Amsterdam (Grand), Mexico City, Singapore, Abu Dhabi, Buenos Aires, among others. As an Accor Platinum member, I was “upgraded” to a room that had a terrible view—basically a wall. There are no true blackout blinds; the sunlight woke me up every morning.

Worth every penny FABULOUS
Pros:

Exceptionally helpful, friendly staff who went out of their way to ensure our stay was perfect & that we were happy at all times. Amazing room, so good we didn’t dine out but dined in the room prior to our show ! Will definitely return 😊

My stay at this hotel was nothing short of exceptional. The location is superb, perfectly situated for both convenience and exploration. From the moment I arrived, the staff demonstrated impeccable professionalism — attentive, gracious, and effortlessly accommodating at every turn.
The room itself was exquisitely appointed, offering both supreme comfort and a sense of understated luxury. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, creating an atmosphere of calm and indulgence.
A truly five-star experience in every respect. I very much look forward to returning and would recommend it without hesitation to those seeking sophistication and exemplary service.

As a repeat visitor to Sofitel London St James I cannot rate the experience more highly - the team are fantastic!
From entry to the internal welcome, reception, room service and food services, the team are your best asset and it shows. Loved our stay and will visit again in the future.

A Birthday to Remember at Sofitel London St James
Pros:

We had a wonderful stay at Sofitel London St James during Valentine’s weekend while celebrating our son’s birthday.

From the moment we arrived, everyone welcomed us with warm smiles. The hotel was very clean with great attention to detail throughout - gorgeous decoration . Breakfast was delicious as well.

Special thanks to Andy Santos for making sure we had an excellent and memorable stay. We truly appreciate the outstanding service!
