El personal es muy amable, la atención fue magnífica. Esta muy bien ubicado a unas calles de la explanada y varios restaurantes. En general el hotel esta muy bonito
No me agrado que el aire acondicionado hiciera mucho ruido, de ahí en fuera todo estuvo excelente!

It is fabulous historic building full of atmosphere and character, dating back to the early days of the Spanish. We liked that the management were careful not to spoil or over modernise the building. The rooms were clean and functional and despite being very close to the centre of town, was very quiet once you had gone through the main door off the road. The big plus point was the beautiful courtyard pool which was heated and cleaned every day and the courtyard garden was swept clean. We were pleased to see the care being taken of the property.
We could not fault the front desk staff; they are a significant asset to the hotel. They were helpful beyond reasonable expectations for a small hotel, (mending a shoe and providing ice for sore feet), they had pretty good English and were friendly and cheerful. Room, garden, pool and breakfast staff were also very diligent.
La Mission needs some investment to improve the bedrooms (furniture, decoration) and bathrooms. The rooms were fine but were showing signs of wear and tear and felt old and in need of updating, but without losing the historic appeal and connection to the origins of the place. We would have loved to have had a fridge in the room and a means to make a hot drink (ie kettle), or have one or two available for any room to use, and a second suitcase stand. The in-room information also needs to be replaced with a couple of laminated sheets with key information.
We were also confused over the bar/restaurant which we understood was operated by another company.
The hotel needs to be ‘put on the map’ – for example being a stop on a walking tour of the central historical area. It deserves to be visited.

Todo estuvo muy bien y nos apoyaron con todo lo que necesitamos. El personal fue muy amable y el lugar estuvo súper bien ubicado. Eso nos encantó. Lo recomiendo mucho.

If you travel with a big.luggage.from.a.terminal,.it is a.bit far.
Nous avions un petit studio très grand avec kitchenette à quelques mètres de l'hotel. Indépendance totale même pour accéder au parking (pour l'hôtel, il faut passer par un valet pour récupérer sa voiture). Se situe à 250m de la place centrale de Merida.

Es una antigua mansión o convento, con estancias amplias, una piscina en el patio, el comedor del desyuno tiene algunas mesas en el patio, y es muy agradable. Hay un valet que se encarga de aparcar el coche, porque el parking no está en el mismo local, y luego lo trae cuando lo necesitas. Está muy céntrico, y cerca de la catedral y zona de ambiente, para ir pasenado.
No hay ascensor; y para las plantas superiores, según que equipaje lleves, se echa de menos. Necesita un poco de remodelación, y comparado con otrso locales similares en la zona, el precio es más elevado.
Lovely boutique hotel. Very clean. Located very conveniently. Staff were super friendly.
Bar hours not great. Free margaritas not at all good. Coffee was too much money and not great quality.
