Three night family stay in Montreal
Pros:

Large and comfortable room. Helpful staff. Great location.

Cons:

Very weak internet which made it difficult to use in our room. Loud aircon/ generator in the courtyard outside our room which made it difficult to sleep.

Perfect Two night stay.

Fabulous location, huge rooms, can be loud on a weekend
Pros:

Great location, friendly staff, huge rooms with a large bathroom, great shower pressure, comfy robes, nice sitting area and very comfortable beds and pillows. It was also very helpful to have an umbrella to borrow during our stay as it did rain one day.

While we didn't use the stove, it was a nice amenity to have if someone needed it. We also liked having the microwave to heat up leftovers and appreciated the Nespresso machine for a mid-day pick-me-up.

Cons:

The walls and windows seem very thin. We were able to hear people talking and screaming in the streets and in the hallways from the 4th floor. Granted, it was a Saturday night, but I didn't expect to hear this much noise until 3am. Sound-proof windows would greatly help! It would also be helpful to have a dresser in the room, even if small.

Trotz mancher Einschränkungen zu empfehlen
Pros:

Die Lage ist nicht zu übertreffen. Ich kann auch beim Frühstück keine langen Wartezeiten wie andere Gäste bemängeln. Dennoch gab es bei der Bestellung immer wieder Missverständnisse, obwohl mein Französisch in diesen Dingen ganz passabel ist. Ich hätte mir ganz einfach ein kontinentales Frühstück gewünscht. Nicht jeder mag eine volle Mahlzeit zum Frühstück.

Cons:

Das Geräusch der Klimaanlagen zum Innenhof ist wirklich eine Zumutung. Da bringt ein Balkon gar nichts. Auch diese im Zimmer ist zu laut. Aufgrund des Zuschnittes unserer Suite konnten wir beides überlisten. Der kleine abgetrennte Schlafraum dämpfte die Außengeräusche bei geöffneter Balkontür und ausgeschalteter Klimaanlage im Raum sehr. Es kühlte nachts draußen noch ab.
Bei 4 Übernachtungen und großzügigem Trinkgeld für den Zimmerservice zwischendurch hätte ich mir den Einsatz eines Staubsaugers bei dem eh nicht ganz frischen Teppichboden gewünscht.

An oasis of calm in the bustle of Old Montreal
Pros:

The staff was exceptional! Everyone was attentive, kind, and helpful. They elevated the experience from the get go. We were upgraded to a fabulous suite with rooftop lounge (!) Special shoutout to Eve-Marie and (I believe) Paolo. The bed was super comfortable, the bathroom was large and well equipped, and the kitchenette was a lovely bonus. The room was quiet, and the temperature controls were efficient and easy to work. We've stayed in close to half a dozen hotels in the area over the years, and this is, hands down, our favorite. Highly recommend!

Cons:

One small note: it didn't seem like closed captions were available on the in-room television; a pretty standard offering these days.

Ce serait magnifique dans le bruit insupportable
Pros:

L'emplacement le confort de la suite mise à part le bruit

Cons:

Je regrette le choix de cet hôtel.
J'ai apprécié le confort de la suite.
Mais j'avais choisi cet suite pour sa terrasse en plein ciel et la vue sur Montréal. 
Malheureusement je n'ai pas pu en profiter, en raison du bruit insupportable probablement lié à la machinerie située sur le toit de l'immeuble. Nous avons dû nous réfugier à l'intérieur.
Ce défaut me semble majeur compte tenu de la promesse de cette suite présenté en photo.
J'espère que mon expérience permettra d'améliorer celle des futurs occupants.

Ideal location for exploring old Montreal.
Pros:

Fantastic location, ideal for exploring old Montreal. A small kitchenette was provided in the room which was really useful for any self catering needs.

Cons:

Only comment would be that we had a room on the front of the hotel on fifth floor which was quite noisy with traffic noise (with deliveries etc) early in the morning. Clearly traffic noise is to be expected in a city but not sure whether a room at the back of the hotel might have been quieter.
