Location although this area is at all times very crowded. The room was renovated and looked nice.
I got room with a park view. It's not exactly what you expect paying for the view. First of all the window is dirty and has bird's marks which is very unpleasant. Then although you can see the park but there are buildings in between and what you actually see is a huge water tower. For a 5 stars hotel they could offer more cosmetics in the bathroom. They take a deposit but the fridge is empty so why taking deposit?
Great location. Good restaurants in vacinity
They double charged my room and my travel agent was told they can hold the amount up to 30days. Which is absolutely bullshit. The room was paid in full when I left and therefore the hold room.hold should be transfered immediately thereafter. Staff were ok but not great for hospitality
Good location. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Had problems with the shower leaking. It was fixed but then didn’t work properly.
Couldn’t get late night drinks in the bar as residence.
Quality was good but wouldn’t put it at 5 star.

I stayed in Room 925 from June 24–28 and had mixed feelings about my stay.
The location is excellent and was the main reason I chose the hotel. The staff was courteous, and I appreciated that they said they would send someone to address the issues I reported.
Excellent location within walking distance of Central Park, Fifth Avenue, Broadway.
Unfortunately, for the price I paid, the overall value was disappointing. At a similar nightly rate, I could have stayed at iconic luxury properties such as The Pierre, and I expected a much higher standard.
The biggest issue was the shower. The diverter never fully switched from the bathtub faucet to the overhead rain shower, so water continued pouring into the bathtub while I showered. As a result, the tub gradually filled with water, and I found myself standing in a puddle of soapy water. I reported this during my stay and was told it would be repaired, but the problem remained until I checked out.
I also found hair in the bathroom upon arrival, which immediately affected my confidence in the room's cleanliness.
The bathroom itself feels quite dated. The high bathtub with a shower instead of a modern walk-in shower was inconvenient, and there are no grab bars or secure handholds when stepping out. Although I am fit and active, I nearly slipped getting out of the tub. I would be genuinely concerned about the safety of older guests, as this seems like an avoidable liability risk.
Overall, the hotel has an excellent location and good potential, but the room did not match the premium price charged. I left feeling that I had paid luxury hotel rates without receiving a luxury hotel experience.
I hope management will take this feedback seriously, as I would like to return in the future if these issues are addressed. Given that I reported the maintenance problem during my stay and it was not resolved before my departure, I would appreciate a goodwill gesture or loyalty points to acknowledge the inconvenience.
