The staff was friendly.

Cons:

When we checked out, we were never informed that they held $594.00 on our card ,& they charged us $494.00 for our stay. When we reached the next hotel our card declined. Call credit card company & was informed of the $595.00 hold, had to pay with cash, its not good to do that to a customer. Very angry, will not stay there again.

Die Einrichtung ist sehr alt. Das Bad hätte auch eine Renovierung nötig. Frühstück war sehr dreckig und wenig appetitlich.

Moved from Excellent to Good
Pros:

Room very nice. Desk in the center of the space as a room divider. More open feel to the room. Lots of lighting. Four decorative lamps. Can lights over desk. Ceiling fan with light package over bed. Shades on lamps on bedside tables a little large for the space allowed. Pillow top on king bed. Well placed for viewing, large TV. Lots of channels on the TV. Spectrum menu was difficult to figure out. Lots of mirrors. Love seat near window. Two usb ports and two outlets on each bedside table and they worked.

Cons:

If the meat runs out at breakfast 30 minutes before the end they do not heat up more meat. A group of Veterans didn't get any sausage for breakfast because of this rule. I understand not wanting to waste food - but maybe there is a way to heat up a little more. Breakfast 6 AM to 9 AM means that. Or post the rule, come 30 minutes before the end if you want meat.
Parking was more packed than usual, but that is good for business. We had to park in back.
Room was hot because air was off when we came in. Cooled off very fast however.
Bathroom lighting could be brighter.

Bed was comfortable and clean. Bathroom clean. Water pressure good, hot water

Cons:

Room smelt musty. Carpet was dirty to the point that we were not walking across that gross floor barefooted at all. Furniture was brokenRecliner in room was broke,stains and dirt on them. Bathroom vanity was broken.Only two big towels stocked in bathroom. No linens for hide-a-bed.

New Favorite Hotel
Pros:

Nicest staff ever. The TV remote wouldn't work and first the staff member brought me batteries and then she brought me a new remote. We were on the 3rd floor.
The indoor pool was clean, the proper temperature and all ours. There is a special key to get into the pool. The pool has pool towels.
The breakfast was nice, sausage and omlettes. One of the managers explained why the cheese was separate. Some people didn't want cheese on the omelet. Regular coffee, special coffees, even raspberry herbal tea! Fruit including bananas. The staff member in charge of breakfast refilled the orange juice at the end of the time because my husband wanted some. She explained how the fruit juice machine worked. She also told us about the extra cleaning required for the special flavored coffee machine so the coffee would taste better. They even had food for a young man who showed up at the last 5 minutes to eat. A large menu in the lobby shows you what is for breakfast everyday during the week.
Ceiling fan with lights, two ceiling lights, two bedside table lamps, one reading light and the usual bathroom lights. Real closet and a room safe.
I couldn't get the desk chair out from under the desk, but my husband did. Very comfortable chair by the reading lamp.
USB ports and outlets on each bedside table under the drawer. The USB ports on my husband's side worked.

Cons:

Smell of blunt in the elevator when we checked in. The smell was gone after about an hour. Signs said no smoking or vaping, but not every customer follows the rules.
USB ports on my bedside table didn't work however the two outlets there worked fine with my wall wart.

Great for our short stay
Pros:

The staff was great! So nice and welcoming. The room was nice and the bed was comfortable.

Cons:

There were some small bugs in the bathroom. Nothing crazy (we were here in August and Texas heat makes bugs come in) they were mostly confined to the bathrooms.
