Our first time at this particular Radisson Blu and hopewont be our last. Really enjoyed everything about the hotel, the room, the polite courteous staff the breakfast and where it is situated.

Fab location, OK service, disappointing breakfast
Pros:

Check in was slow. 3 desks, 3 staff. 1 staff just stood there ignoring the queue going out of the door. Turns out her computer wasn't working but rather than putting a sign, telling people this or stepping out of the way so it appeared unmanned until the queue clear she just stood there. Very unprofessional. The room was lovely. Spacious and clean however we were placed in a room with a high up tiny prison like window that looked on to a brick wall. Very disappointing. I like to see where I'm staying and appreciate natural light. To be in a superior room with sub par window doesn't make sense. Breakfast was also disappointing. The heat lamps are useless. The food was cold. Getting the attention of the chef to ask for food topping up or a fried egg was a real task. They ran out of pastries and the coffee and bread are poor quality. Save yourself the cost and get to wetherspoons down the road.
The location is fantastic. The hotel is nice and presentable as well as quiet. I would recommend but as I say there's some tweaks needed and I will make sure I ask for a decent window next time

Pros:

Checked in online then 25 minute queue to collect key and bags
Don’t ask for a pint after 22:30hrs in the bar…you’ll get told there’s a Wetherspoons over the road.
Not sure what beds they use but felt it every time my husband moved in the night.
On check out not asked if we enjoyed our stay just ‘have a nice day’

Good hotel in a great location
Pros:

The hotel room was good size and comfortable however, the shower did not work due to a broken hose - we would have expected this to have been picked up by the house keeping. The service provided was very good and all the staff were friendly. The hotel is in a good location and very convenient for the centre of Leeds. Overall we enjoyed our stay at the hotel.
