quality of diner buffet and indoor swimming pool in winter
the hotel seems to be falling in pieces, buckets and towels can be found here and there to collect water drops from ceilings when it rains
We have stayed here before and love the location
The glasses and cups werent washed or replaced in the room. The milk was off. One of our rooms was a disabled room. The tiles on the floor were worn and broken. And the whole room was flooded every time we had a shower.
Perfect location, l loved having a bath.
Excellent breakfast
There were long queues at check in and check out.
Todo
Nada
The Reception team were fantastic, and arranged an early check in
heard so much about this place. arrived at around 2pm and was really impressed by the building and gardens. we were informed our room would not be ready until 4pm which is the hotel check in time. we were issued with our AI wristbands and waited in the bar area. the hotel was incredibly busy being half term and a Spanish holiday plus several football teams staying at the hotel. there were 3 members of staff working the bar are who were inundated but seemed to give preferential treatment to Spanish guests the entire week . a senior member by the name of Fernando was incredibly rude and unhelpful.
the restaurant we only used 3 times throughout the week. the food was cold every meal and the queues were ridiculously slow. when we went to try to get into our room they still weren't ready at 4.10pm. our first day almost done. We were eventually told we were going to be upgraded to the 18th floor which we accepted. the room was clean and fine but we were unable to lock the patio doors. I know it was the 18th floor but the balcony could easily be accessed from adjoining rooms. this was reported and a small latch was fitted. There were four coat hangers between the two of us. There was a fridge in the room which we could not use because it doubled as a mini bar full of drinks which were not included in our AI package. After complaining to TUI we asked for the fridge to be emptied but it never was. we were however provided with 4 extra coat hangers.
Because the food in the restaurant was so poor we decided to get food from the bar. one burger was served so uncooked it was still able to moo.
All in all a really bad experience from a hotel I had really been looking forward to staying at.
we will never go back. there were just not enough staff to cope with this busy period
Loved the location and the view
The beds were rock hard so had a very uncomfortable nights sleep. Massive gap under the door so could hear everything all night. No USB charger by the bedside. teacups are tiny. Parking your car at the hotel costs €20 a night.
It was clean and spacious and the Rituals toiletries we very nice
Nothing
The location as we were there to attend a show at the nearby Palace, the buffet breakfast was outstanding
Check in was the longest process I have ever dealt with in any country, bar none. Although the hotel was booked in my name and I presented my passport and credit card immediately, for some reason they wouldn't carry out the checkin process without my husband having to come in from where he was outside with the car, and also show his passport, also a first for me. The room was SOOOO HOT and when we asked about the AC were told it was winter (despite it being 23C outside) so the AC wasn't on yet, our only option, they told us, was to leave our balcony door open! Yikes! Despite that, the reception area, hallways and dining room all seemed to have their AC working just fine. The cost of parking was also very steep.
The skyline views from our room was nice. Very close to bars and restaurants and not far from the beach.
The air conditioning
The staff were attentive friendly and were always ready to go the extra mile. The food was excellent and the location is ideal near enough to the hot spots but away enough to be pleasant
USB Chargers incorarated in the socket system.
The ability to turn down the heating in the room
Good breakfast. Clean room. Good location
