Found dirty underwear from a previous person that stayed in the room. The dirty underwear was under the bed along with other dirty clothes. Had to remove these and bring to the front office.
Room should have cleaned
The restaurant on the property was very good and had many options.
I wish the pool had been available and possibly a small breakfast bar.
Our stay was distracted by backed up sewer the second night. Since it was late we we're to be moved first thing in the morning. Upon consulting with the front desk clerk Randelyn Curley displayed the worst I've experienced from a hotel. Ms. Curley instantly became belligerent stating I cannot move you to a different room until later today. I asked her to why we would need to wait since management stated first thing in the morning and Ms. Curley became aggitated with her tone of voice stating she worked all night. Out of frustration, I stated to her no one told you to come to work! While under Ms. Curley's unacceptable behavior I explained to her I have a torn meniscus in my knee and she said "I know" and continued to be verbally aggressive. No one knows about my medical conditions and this employee had magical powers to inform of my issues. Very unpleasant and unprofessional experience.

The room was comfortable.
One of the registration clerk during checkout was very rude. She was not helpful in anyway. I did not have time to stay there and argue with her, I had to go to work.

The fact that my family lives in Chinle and it was near them.
I have so much to say.
1. First and foremost the rooms need to be deep cleaned. There were spiderwebs pretty much everywhere you looked and there were a lot of little spiders in the restroom. A ton of dust bunnies behind the tv stand and the nightstand. There were items under the bed from possibly the previous guests.
2. I’m going to take a guess but the pool and hot tub have been closed for quite some time. If they are closed all the time then they need to be taken off the list of amenities.
3. The person that checked me in needs to be trained a little more on handling issues with reservations and communicating with the guest.
Restaurant breakfast was very good.
Room was dirty. Shower was noisy and drains were very slow. Bedding was poor and old.

Heater settings, had to unplug & reset because it wasn’t warming up.
Room was clean and looked to be recently renovated. Shower pressure was awesome.
