Close as you are likely to get to heaven!
Pros:

Perfect location for visiting Monterey’s magnificent aquarium; welcoming sunrise over the ocean; fireplace in the room. Nice continental breakfast in the room.

Cons:

Front desk has super friendly people that care about you and that you enjoy your stay.
Pros:

It is right above McAbee beach.
Right on the water. There are rooms on road side also. For best stay make sure you book ocean view.

Cons:

The beach closes at 9pm but
Some nights public are talking and swimming after midnight. You will need to call down to front desk and security will remind them that the beach is closed.

Pros:

Very convenient to the aquarium & shops. Home away from home feel- very comfortable.

Gorgeous hotel just right for a short stay!
Pros:

Rooms felt luxurious. Great attention to detail. Bed was amazing with great pillow menu. Breakfast was simple but tasty and just right. Location was super with a window length seat overlooking the Cannery. A perfect stay.

Cons:

A minor point but the reception set up of a desk with two big monitors and two people sitting behind them was a bit off putting. It felt like i was going to be offered a time-share. Apart form that everything was perfect.

Great stay in a Historic building right on Cannery Row
Pros:

We loved the friendly staff, beautiful historic charm, and the wraparound balcony with views of Cannery Row and the water. We enjoyed the nightly wine and cheese refreshments.

Cons:

The old bronze accents in the bathroom turned green when they came in contact with our soap and it was quite annoying. The water pressure was really low. And the toilet hissed incessantly after flushing. But what are you going to do? It's an old building. The bed was a bit too firm for my taste and the pillows engulfed me.
