Good location to explore the Monterey peninsula.
Pros:

Good location if you want to be in the Cannery Row area. Very clean.
Helpful staff. Breakfast was brought to your room. Good selection on the breakfast menu.

Cons:

No air conditioning. Fan in room

Tolles Zimmer - guter Service - Umfeld und Aussen eher zweite Klasse.
Pros:

Der Empfang im Hotel sowie das Zimmer waren echt super.
Das Zimmer super kuschelig und Frühstück auf das Zimmer gebracht incl. waren wirklich etwas besonderes. Definitv empfehlenswert mit viel Wohlfühl-Spirit.

Cons:

Dass das Parken 37USD extra kostet war bei dem Zimmerpreis etwas überrraschend.
Das Frühstück war dann doch überschaubar und nur durch eigenes Obst sättigend.
Die Bilder von der Seeseite sind entweder aus einer besseren Zeit oder mit Filter und Photoshop aufbereitet. Ich war schockiert über den Zustand der Hausfassade und es Strandes.

A decent hotel in a central location — nothing more, nothing less.
Pros:

We stayed in a corner room on one of the upper floors, and the views over the sea were truly stunning. The room looked exactly like in the pictures and it was adequate, though cleanliness could be improved — for example, the tables could have done with a proper wipe-down. The bathroom was fine. Valet parking worked really well.

Breakfast in the room was disappointing. The selection was limited, and I had requested gluten-free options, but nothing was labelled to indicate which items were gluten-free — including the bread. On the second morning we decided to have breakfast elsewhere.

In the afternoon, wine and cheese were served in the hotel lobby, which was a nice touch, though again nothing particularly impressive.

Overall a good stay. The hotel’s location is excellent.

Disappointed.
Pros:

The balcony.

Cons:

The frayed towel and frayed top sheet.
The breakfast pastry was puny and didn’t receive our full order.
The bathroom floor needed maintenance.
Half the staff was friendly and half was unfriendly.

A charming place to stay in Monterey
Pros:

Great location, right in the town centre. Bed was very comfortable. Valet parking was useful. Charming decor.

Cons:

Breakfast was pretty basic — two tiny (borderline stale) pastries, some fruit, cereal, coffee.
