Wish we had stayed longer!
Pros:

The setting and location are superb. Every room has a private balcony and the included continental breakfast is ddlivered to your room to be eaten on the bacony. The views are wonderful. The staff are friendly and helpful. The room was a good size and well appointec.

Cons:

The car parking underneath the building iis tight, with small spaes.

Shockingly over priced.
Pros:

Balcony good and staff got us wine glasses.

Cons:

Shockingly bad value for money. Feel completely ripped off. Could have stayed in a smart hotel in manhattan for the same price.
Dated hotel with no facilities and a fridge that kept us awake.

Beautiful View, Infrastructure could be better
Pros:

I want to give this hotel a five star rating because there's so much to love about it. The view of the beach full of sea lions was incredible. The sound of the ocean waves was unforgettable. Every worker was always friendly and happy. The breakfast delivery was a very nice way to start the day.

Cons:

Staying for 13 nights and only having working Wifi for 3 of the days is unacceptable in 2026. I had to have Zoom calls for work and my kids needed to do online school, all of which was not possible. The staff genuinely seemed to care but the problem was never solved. They offered us a key to an extra room where the wifi worked, but it was a storage room without anywhere to sit. It felt like they were hoping our stay would be over so they wouldn't have to actually solve the problem. That's just a feeling, not a fact. If you have unlimited data (I don't as I'm on a foreign plan) then this will not be an issue. The hotel will be fabulous. But if you need Wifi, make sure theirs is functioning.

The Best Time and a Very Relaxed Hotel.
Pros:

The staff were great, the location was fantastic, and the place was just so relaxed. The room was nice and the view was perfect. It was so easy to get to everywhere, and having the parking structure in the same building made getting to the car easy. We have been to Monterey over 30 times in the last 12 years and have stayed at all the wonderful hotels on Cannery Row and this is the first time we have stayed here and we will definitely return. It was so much fun.

Great ocean views, comfortable bed, limited breakfast.
Pros:

We had an oceanfront room and the view was incredible - this is the main reason to stay here! We enjoyed the hot tubs, especially the rooftop one, but both are small, so there were times when we were unable to use one as there were other people there. The bed was very comfortable.

Cons:

The breakfast is served in room and we found it to be small - a miniature croissant, small yogurt and fruit.

Never would say at this hotel or recommend to our friends and family.

The room and bathroom looked run down. The walls were paper thin and we could hear the other guest.
We hardly could sleep with the door opening and closing until 11:00 at night. The breakfast was terrible.
