Pros:

La suite était vraiment spacieuse, idéale pour une famille avec de grands enfants. Les lits sont confortables.

Cons:

Notre chambre donnait sur la rue donc assez bruyant. Le petit déjeuner était compris dans le prix mais peu de choix et produits de pas très bonne qualité.

Location and size of room and bathroom

Cons:

For the money paid I would e like the tub to be no clogged and when I asked the front desk to see if they could fix it all they said was that they don’t have any maintenance staff on duty. Air conditioner/heater didn’t work, no way to light the fireplace, spider webs in the bathroom, elevator didn't work. I would’ve expected for the price I paid for the room, I would’ve expected a better experience.

Extremely loud; not so close to Canary Row. Would skip it next time!

The room was really nice!

Cons:

If you like getting good night’s sleep, then skip this hotel. It is extremely noisy due to its construction. Any movement from the floor above is highly audible. And since it seems to be old wooden construction anyone walking up/down the common stairs or in the passage makes huge thumping sound. For the 2 nights we were there, we pretty much were not able to sleep well.

Also, while the breakfast was free, it was pretty ordinary. Noting spectacular.

Charming hotel in central location
Pros:

Location is amazing and staff was accommodating and wonderful. The rooms are very sizable and comfortable. Close to the wharf and next to a trolley and bus stop

Cons:

The hotel is all open, and therefore security could be of concern, but we never felt unsafe.

Lovely hotel right on the wharf, close to everything. Very quaint Spanish style.
Pros:

The room was bright, airy, and thoughtfully designed to compliment Monterey architecture. Beds were very comfortable. The hotel was a very short walk to the wharf with sea otters and sea lions to spot. You can walk to the aquarium and cannery row from the hotel following a lovely recreation path.
