Hotel is in need of a refresh
The staff, they are friendly and great people
I completely understand that this is a three-star hotel, so I was not expecting luxury or high-end facilities. However, I do believe there are basic standards of maintenance and comfort that should be met regardless of the hotel category.
The bathroom was probably the most disappointing part of the stay. There was a slight sewage smell, the light flickered constantly, and the bathtub faucet was loose and rusty. Overall, the bathroom felt very dated and, more importantly, poorly maintained.
Another major issue was the air conditioning, which was extremely noisy. At night, you basically had to choose between turning it off and sleeping in silence but feeling too warm, or keeping the room at a comfortable temperature while dealing with constant noise.
The location is excellent, but unfortunately the condition and maintenance of the facilities did not match it. I was not expecting anything luxurious, just a clean, functional, and comfortable place to stay. With some much-needed maintenance and updating, the experience could be significantly improved.
Nothing
It smelt like pee as soon as I walked in , was charged 20 dollar parking even tho I didn’t park at the hotel , the tub was insanely disgusting there were nasty streaks coming from the tub I asked for a refund and didn’t receive it
Staff
Parking
Staff was nice. Quiet location with pharmacy, shopping, groceries and restaurants all within 10 minutes walk. Metro was nearby as well and the area felt safe. I always asked for extra coffee and had no issues. Lobby was clean. Comfortable beds.
Literal roach motel. Had two roaches in our room and others squished on the walls. Pool was blocked off and found out they will likely not keep it operating which was the only reason why I booked the hotel. Carpet was sticky and had old gum squished into it. Room had horrible odor that just wouldn't dissipate despite running AC all day long. Towel rack fell off and room service propped it up rather than having someone fix it. I don't write reviews but this was the grossest hotel i've been at in the US.
Within walking distance of bethesda metro, spacious rooms, friendly staff

The Room was dirty, the carpet was stained and had a very bad odor . wall paper was torn, bed was broken
The front desk clerk was wonderful . He has great customer service skills and is super professional at his job.
We booked this hotel because I was getting a medical procedure and needed a hotel room to spend the night in case I had to return to the hospital.
At arrival we noticed that the hotel was not what we were expecting it to be, but after all we checked in and it only got worse, the hallway to the room is connected to a restaurant. We didn’t feel comfortable or safe but we checked out the inside of the room and to our surprise it smelled like cats have been staying in this room.
So we told the clerk that we could not stay due to the conditions of the hotel. He advised us to contact booking.com and notify them that he would agree to refund us for the hotel room.
I was stsfay at all I didn’t stay night because I found Roche in my bad big and Botheroom
