The staff was great! From the front desk to the bartenders to the servers in the restaurant. Friendly, helpful and pleasant even when solving problems.

Jamie did a fantastic job taking care of me whenever I pulled up to valet. Very good service every time. Top-tier valet service. Smooth, organized, and extremely professional. Jamie and all of the attendants were sharp, polite, and treated my car like it was their own. A flawless experience.

The hallway was very loud late in to the night so we did not get much sleep. However, the bartender and restaurant staff were great and very friendly.

Jamie in Valet was top notch. She was on her game there all week. Always polite and helped with everything. I would recommend giving her a shout out every time you are there.

Savannah Doubletree Hotel in the Historic district. Great location but outside noise made sleeping difficult. Valet Jamie did a great job taking care of our needs with our car. She was friendly and timely.

Valet with Smile. Meet and greets are always pleasant and efficient in the am.

It’s a rarity in the historic area of Savannah to find hustlers and intrinsically motivated people (broad brush). I have visited the doubletree frequently and will say most of the overnight valet are suspect and transient.

The am efficiency is spot on from the front desk of the hotel to the departure. I do believe that once Jamie leaves work she puts a cape on flys around Savannah fighting crime. Once I enter the request in my app the car basically pops out of the garage like a pop tart in the am. NICE JOB!!

Everything was great with our stay. Especially our valet…GoGo Jamie!!

Overall, this is a very nice hotel. The property itself was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The housekeeping staff was absolutely top notch — the rooms were spotless every day, and they clearly take pride in their work.

The front desk staff was polite during check-in, but any requests outside of that felt like an inconvenience to them. While they weren’t rude, they did seem irritated when asked for assistance beyond the basics.

Valet service is where the experience really fell apart. At $50 per day — with no other parking option — I expected efficiency and professionalism. The gentleman working Friday evening was super helpful and kind. We also worked with Jaime on the day we left, and she was fantastic. She was running around doing everything she could to make sure everyone received their vehicles in a timely manner. She was truly the only one who seemed to be hustling.

Unfortunately, the weekend valet staff was disorganized and unprepared. They didn’t know where my car was and seemed unfamiliar with the app the hotel uses to request vehicles. Ironically, I received a text saying they were “hustling to car,” which could not have been further from what was actually happening. It was frustrating to pay a premium for a service that lacked coordination and urgency.

In the end, it’s a nice hotel with excellent housekeeping and a couple of standout valet employees, but inconsistent service — especially at that valet price point — definitely impacted the overall experience.

My 5 stars is for Jamie at valet!!!! She was amazing, kind and fun! The hotel was nice but very noisy. And they claim to be pet friendly but fined everyone with dogs $200 bc someone complained they heard one bark - that was on top of the fee to bring dogs to hotel.

Look for Jamie at the valet, she has you covered!

Easy checkin and great valet service. Lave took good care of our luggage until we were ready to leave the city. Everyone we met on stag was friendly from front desk, room service, and the restaurant. Rare to find these days. Great hotel location within the historic district. Easy walk to everything.

Went for a volleyball tournament and we were able to check in early ( for a fee) and check out late. The front desk was very helpful and patient. Valet parking had the BEST people, Jamie was awesome, I think the place would fall apart without her 😉!!
The room was clean and they even provided white noise machines which helped block out city sounds. The hotel is a quick walk to the ferry which is free and is close to restaurants and attractions.

Jamie at the valet was great—we never had to wait for our vehicle and it was always a pleasant experience.

Wish they had a dinner option. Staff are amazing.

Had a wonderful experience! From the time we pulled up and meet Jamie in valet till the time we left! Rooms were nice and clean. Only issue was bar is closed Sunday and Monday. But plenty around us, so not an issue. Thanks Jamie for all your help and that incredible southern hospitality you provided.
