Hilton Sedona Summit Review
I paid $350 for one night and was very disappointed with the condition of the room I was assigned. Unfortunately, the room appeared to be extremely outdated and in need of maintenance. The window screen was ripped, the screen door was off its hinges, and the bathroom fan made a loud grinding noise that sounded like it could fail at any moment.
These issues made the room feel poorly maintained and not consistent with the standards I expect from a Hilton property, especially at this price point. I would not normally complain, but basic maintenance issues like these should not be present in a room being rented for $350 per night.
Sedona is one of my favorite places to come to reset and recharge, and I chose this property expecting the quality typically associated with Hilton. The grounds and location are beautiful, but the condition of the room itself did not reflect the value of the rate charged.
I hope management will review this room and address the maintenance concerns, and I would appreciate being contacted regarding a refund or appropriate compensation for this stay.
Im großen und ganzen gut. Die Lage war super.
Das Schlafsofa war unbequem. Peronal nicht sehr engagiert. Handtücher werden nicht von alleine ausgetauscht.
The hotel's location is great, easy to approach. There is enough parking and the room was lovely.
It was perfect for our quick weekend getaway.
Bummer that they don't offer breakfast and you have to pay daily $25 extra for self-parking and games. I found that strange.
Check-in staff were very friendly, warm and efficient and helpful with questions too. The facility is beautiful, our room was fabulous. We had a problem with a noise and a ceiling fan but maintenance were there very quickly and sorted the problem out. Beds were very comfortable. Very easy to get into the main shopping/restaurant area.
Need bigger towels for the bathrooms.
View was cool. Proximity to the sights was great.
Tv did not work. I was comped a night after 3 days of back and forth. After a long day I like to relax with a movie …
HVC Sedona Summit is located just outside of Sedona, in a quite area of the town. The resort began as a Diamond Resort property in the 1990s, and was later rebranded under Hilton in 2021.
We booked through Hilton a Studio Queen room. We found that the room rate to be pretty competitive to the Hilton Hotel property in the area (e.g., Hampton Inn Sedona). Compare with the Hampton Inn, the hotel charges a high resort fee ($25 per day), and doesn’t have restaurant (hence breakfast) on property. However, in exchange, the room offers a full kitchen (including a toast oven, pots and pans, plates, cooking utensils, dish washer and dish washer tabs, a refrigerator with freezer, and an induction stove top) that you can cook a light meal. Our room has a single queen bed and a sofa bed, that can supposedly sleep 4 people. We find the room to be clean, quiet at night, and well stocked with towers and toiletries. There is a small table with two chairs for meals, and a small bathroom with toilet and shower. The room also has a balcony with two chairs. There is ample parking in front of the room that is included as part of the resort fee. The property doesn’t have elevator though, so you should be expected to carry your luggage to the room through stairs.
The resort has a number of pools with hot tubs. We have found that the hot tubs to be popular among the guests, especially during sunset, as there are often people hanging in the hot tub to enjoy the beautiful sunset view of the Sedona Redrock.
The resort has a small recreation room near the main pool, with a ping pong table (ping pong pads and balls are provided), a foosball table, an exercise room, and a laundry room with two washers and dryers that are free to use.
Overall, we found that the HVC Sedona Summit to be a satisfactory Hilton property to stay in Sedona.
We stayed in a studio in Building 16, just two of us. The room was spacious with lots of storage and everything you need for a nice stay in Sedona. It was a little dated and in need of some updates, but nothing major. My major complaints would be the road noise, we could not enjoy any time on the balcony since this room faces the major road, and we even had to buy ear plugs since the road noise started so early. The other minor complaint would be the TV, the service was constantly interrupted with poor reception.
Other than that, the pools were all great, the hots tubs were nice and there is an amazing network of trails right behind the hotel. Personally, I enjoyed the location, it is on the outskirts, so can't really walk to shops or restaurants. We had a car, so not a big deal, but there is a shuttle that comes around, or even a bike would be great.
I would recommend this place to anyone who is visiting, just try and make sure your building is not near the road!
The location is perfect being a short drive from the popular tourist attractions. The hotel has lots of amenities and the rooms are spacious and have everything you need. Breakfast was good too!
Everything was as expected. I like to book Marriott a lot for my travels and I am rarely disappointed. Nothing that we didn't like.
Next to our unit we had access to 2 close-by pools and hot tubs. Plenty of parking and our unit was very quiet and clean. We had everything we needed. They even have a coffee pot, salt and pepper and dish towels with dish soap to use in the kitchen.
We could only stay 2 nights because that is all of the time we had. We would have loved to stay longer.
Great location, parking was nice, great service from staff and comfortable beds.
Nothing to not like.
