Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Cedar Park by IHG

The first one we checked into stock so bad when you’re open the door there was a strong odor came out of the room. None of the housekeeper spoke English, so they were unable to understand what I was trying to explain to them. I ended up going back downstairs and talking to the guy that was the receptionist. He was a bit impatient and didn’t seem really to Care gave me another key to another room which smelled just a little bit better, but it’s still stunk. The towels didn’t appear to be very clean. They were a dingy white. I guess the only thing fair about the place was that didn’t charge a deposit which they wouldn’t have deserved anyway with the way the room smelled. They didn’t even provide us enough towels for two people. It’s not a place. I would recommend I wouldn’t stay there again.

only bummer was about 20 minutes after I got to the pool, someone came to shut it down bc it was too green. I specifically picked a place with a pool to enjoy the hot day. other than that, it was great!

It’s clean and convenient for dining and is very safe

I stayed and worked remote in the larger area king bed room. The bed was very comfortable and room offered plenty of space. I’m not sure how the WiFi strength was because I brought my own T-Mobile 5G WiFi tower, but that signal was great. Breakfast was very good, and so was the staff! I will stay again and I actually reserved this hotel for a future stay this coming mid August 2025.

Terrible experience. I booked this hotel specifically because they have photos showing a hot tub next to the outdoor pool. When I arrived I saw that these photos must be very out of date because where the hot tub used to be is now filled in with concrete and there is NO hot tub. False advertising. The hotel is much more rundown than the photos let on. The air conditioning unit dripped continuously onto the carpet making the floor wet and created a musty and damp smell in the room. One evening, when returning to the room, my mother and I got into the elevator and the doors closed and the elevator didn't move. We pushed the buttons and nothing happened. The door wouldn't open. We pushed the call button and the woman at the front desk came to assist, but there wasn't much she could do. Fortunately within a few minutes the doors opened on their own but it was a nerve-racking experience and we didn't trust the elevator from that point on. Because of the issue with falsely advertising a hot tub when there is not one on the site - I requested a refund but was denied. Expedia worked with me to try to make a refund happen and an agent that I spoke with said that a manager named Jeremey approved at least one night of our three night stay to be refunded; however, when trying to find out details about when to expend the refund I was told it wasn't going to happen after all. I would urge anyone thinking of booking here to look elsewhere.

Room was clean and ready at check in time. Beds were very comfortable. Only negative you can hear car/truck noise in parking lot even on third floor.
