Pros:

The bed was comfy and location good.

Cons:

The check in service was slow and inefficient. Our room had a faulty ac so it dripped all the time and the carpet was wet. Told staff and they couldn't be bothered. The hotel was OK but shabby. We won't be going again.

Fine short stay
Pros:

Friendly staff.
Clean room
Easy to book transport from reception.

Cons:

Poor air conditioning, very little cold air from it.
Poor pressure from long shower handle.
No kettle in room despite the impression that it's a half hostel / hotel and that it would be included.
App was tricky to use at times.

Perfect
Pros:

Close to train station and city centre. In middle of chinatown & v close to gay village. Excellent location. Great room. Air conditioning worked during the heatwave. Nice dark room without horrible loud fans in the bathroom. Free complimentary newspapers. Free left luggage. Great buffet breakfast good value for money, anyone under 18 is only £5 for breakfast.

Details of breakfast could have been displayed in rooms.

Location. Car park next door although very expensive £38 overnight.

Cons:

Lighting in bathroom very poor. No glass for water or drink facilities. Pillows hard.

Avoid - Turned away at 3am and despite having a pre paid booking

Cons:

I turned up for my booking and was rudely turned away due to an 'overbooking' issue with their computer system.

I was offered no alternative accommodation, dealt with a rude receptionist and was left to walk around Manchester at 3am as a solo female to find alternative accommodation.

When asked for how to proceed about a refund - I had prepaid and had even checked in online the day before - I was slide a business card with a generic customer support email address.
