No kettle or tea facilities in the room
The location of the hotel was perfect for what I needed, and the price felt too good to be true - so I should have really thought that it might not live up to expectations given the price, but the reviews had been really good so I decided to go for it.
The check-in was very faffy - the staff just rudely pointed to a QR code whilst I was stood at the desk. They were serving another customer at the time. I asked whether I could just check in in person as I only had 7% battery on my phone, and just got someone looking at me and pointing at the QR code again. It wouldn't accept my address because I don't have a house number, and it was a massive faff. The man infront of me was also really struggling and barely received any assistance. It was a shambles and very difficult, considering there were 2 members of staff stood there at desks who surely could have just checked us in. The check-in also needed my drivers license number which wasn't stipulated when I booked, and I don't know why it wanted that - I could have easily come without it and would have really struggled.
I think this hotel suffers from a bit of a mixed identity - the prices are that of a bargain basement place, but it gives the impression it would like to be better than that, but there were definitely elements that felt really bargain basement - mismatched towels, only 1 pillow on the bed and the fire alarm randomly going off multiple times in the night (the latest it happened was 2351!) without any explanation or reassurance to guests that the place wasn't on fire!
The whole thing felt a bit random so it was a bit of a disappointing stay to be honest.
the price and location

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location is truly strategic, with easy access to all forms of public transportation, as well as a wide variety of restaurants and cafes right at your doorstep. My room was immaculately clean, quiet, and featured a lovely view of the street. Considering the quality of the service and the amenities provided, the price offers excellent value.
A special thanks to Pasquale for making my stay even more memorable. He is incredibly friendly, polite, and exceptionally helpful. His professionalism, combined with his energetic and humorous personality, ensures that every guest feels well taken care of. He truly goes above and beyond to provide the best experience for everyone. A big shout-out to him for his outstanding service!
Goede locatie met openbaar vervoer dichtbij
Handdoeken moet je zelf gaan vragen. Dit is ook hetzelfde met de kamer te kuisen. Er was geen frigo in de kamer.

Posizione ottima per muoversi a piedi e con i mezzi. Camera ampia e confortevole, letto comodo, pressione dell’acqua buona. Staff cordiale.
Unica pecca di questo hotel è stata la pulizia.. la moquette dei corridoi era veramente sporca, e in camera nella doccia c’erano dei capelli. Niente di insormontabile, sono abituata a ben peggio ma comunque è un punto decisamente migliorabile.

I declined and told i couldbt stay if i didnt orovide ohoto ID or a passoort....ita a city hitel. Im.a 40plus britiah ma. Ans im not travelli g anywhere. WHY DO YOU NEED MY PASSPORT??? ARTICLE 3 ECHR!!!!
