My experience is getting worse every stay
Pros:

I somehow feel that it’s decreasing in quality. I get into a room and there is hair on bed, just a little bit of toilet paper that required change and one spare one, which was not even fixed the next day, cleaners actually removing towels instead of giving new ones, and the bottle of soap in the shower was empty and not refilled in 3 days, I had to go and ask the reception myself. This is not the type of experience I expect for such money.

Pros:

We arrived at the Basel Bad train station and it was a short walk (10 minutes) to hotel. As we received a Guest Card, we made good use of it with the public transportation (free). Bus stop is just outside the hotel across the street. Situated in a great and quiet location. Room and bathroom clean and beds comfortable. The staff were pleasant and friendly. As we were there during the heat wave, they had fruit infused ice water and apples for the guest, which were a godsend. A very pleasant stay and would stay there again.

Nice hotel ruined by poor design of bathroom door
Pros:

Central location not far from Basel Bad train station. About 15 minutes walk to old town but frequent buses including #30 to Spalentor and the SBB station.

Very nice staff, allowed us to check in a bit early as our room was ready.

Cons:

Frosted glass door on bathroom (!) meant that when one of us went to the bathroom at night we ended waking up the other as it was akin to turning on the light in the bedroom. Terrible design.

In general the room was a bit dated.

Prima hotel
Pros:

Zeer vriendelijk en hulpvaardig personeel. Functionele kamer en vrij kleine badkamer. Wij hadden mooi uitzicht op de binnentuin. Prima ontbijt. Vlakbij tramhalte waardoor de mooi binnenstad eenvoudig te bereiken was. Onze auto konden we makkelijk parkeren in de ruime garage.

Habitaciones amplias, con cocina. Patio interior grande y cómodo del hotel. Muy buen desayuno.

Pros:

Übernachtung als Zwischenstopp auf dem Weg Richtung Italien. Bekannt hohes Niveau, sehr gute Zimmerausstattung, extrem leckeres und ausgiebiges Frühstück. Lobend hervorheben muss man auch, dass es ein Parkhaus direkt unter dem Hotel gibt, fairer Preis, perfekt für die Weiterreise nächsten Tag.

Clean, comfortable and convenient
Pros:

Spotless, helpful staff, lots of little extras like complimentary cold soda and beer waiting in the fridge and a basket of fruit always available in the lobby
