Pros:

The hotel was so close to a lot of things. The Royal Mile is a quick walk away. The staff were friendly. The room was pretty spacious.

Cons:

The bathroom had no ventilation so it would steam up quick and it’ll be surprisingly warm. It would be great if ventilation is added.

The Scottish breakfast was exquisite, the sauna/swimming pool-facilities were a nice to have as well, but the location is just EPIC.

Average hotel, ok for a night but I wouldn't want to stay longer.

Cons:

The pool is rather misrepresented in the photos. Breakfast service was a little disjointed. As with many hotels, the toasters are terrible. You either get un-toasted or, if running the bread through twice, burnt toast! I wasn't a fan of the bacon, very salty. The rooms are rather tired and could use some TLC.
