Niet voor herhaling vatbaar terwijl de stad in een woord geweldig is

De locatie en het team. Het ontbijt was ook prima.

De kamer was echt oud en heel
Gehorig. De gordijnen hingen nog aan een paar haakjes, de wc kon alleen gespoeld worden door allebei de knoppen in te drukken en de geluidsoverlast van de weg en kroegen was verschrikkelijk. Ik heb maar oordoppen gekocht.

Great hotel, terrible staff.
Pros:

Location, location. Location! This hotel was in the most wonderful location. I could look out my window and see the castle. It was in the wonderful grassmarket neighborhood and just steps from the royal mile.
The hotel was tastefully decorated and very clean. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was nice with lots of choices, either buffet or a-la-carte.

Cons:

The staff...when I arrived, alone, with 3 pieces a heavy luggage the man at the front desk said he was alone & couldn't leave the desk. So I had to find the luggage cart, load the luggage & then push the cart up a steep hill in the rain, by myself. Not a great first impression. Then 2 of the 3 breakfasts, I was waiting for staff to take my order & then bring me the check & both times the staff member was standing at the check-in desk, playing on their phones. Lastly, when I left at 3 am for an early flight out, there were 3 people standing at the front desk. I asked for a luggage cart. They told me it was on a different floor & I could go get it. Once again, I had to search out the cart, load my own luggage, push it down the steep ramp, unload my luggage & take the cart back up the hill. 3 STAFF MEMBERS standing there & did not lift a finger to help me. What terrible customer service all the way around. Apex clearly does not believe in hospitality or customer service.

Fantastic location, clean and comfy but need to simplify their ordering app
Pros:

Location with view to Edinburgh Castle fantastic. Clean and comfortable

Cons:

Overly complicated to order room service and get staff to answer the phone once you'd given up trying to download the app. Staff could have mentioned on arrival the ramp which would have made moving luggage much easier.

Pros:

Gym, breakfast, close to everything. Will definitely consider to book the hotel again.

Cons:

Design mistake in the toilet due to the sink was just above my knees.
Two gigantic beds could be one bed and some sofa and table could be instead.
Bed was hard and we came from Glasgow where the bed was significantly more comfortable.
