Good trip and great nights sleep
Pros:

It had a good parking area and an uber to universal was not crazy spendy. Slept well didn't hear other ppl from the 2nd floor.We also got to check in before heading to universal with only a 25.00 fee since we had 2 pm tickets for fan fan fest.

Top locatie! Je bent binnen 15 minuten lopen in Universal. Verder rij je direct snelweg op om zo naar andere plekken in LA te rijden! Super vriendelijk personeel!

How close it is to universal studios, walk was not as bad as other reviews made it seem.

Wouldn't go again.
Pros:

The gentleman at check-in and the parking garage (even though it is accessible to the general public). We enjoyed the pizza shop across the street for dinner and then Starbucks in the morning. Both a 3 minute walk.

Cons:

The floors were filthy. They hadn't been vacuumed in at least a week.
The water was brown before it ran clear in the shower.
The was a cockroach in the shower.
Our remote was missing a battery.
The room floors were sticky.
The room across the hall was very loud while having sex and we were there with our young children. The gaps under the doors allow sound to travel as though the door hardly exists.
The area was sketchy for families. A lot of mentally ill people hangout around it. (Not the Hilt's fault).
Parking in the garage cost nearly $30 for the night.
The stairwell locked shortly after wr arrived which felt like a huge safety concern.
The elevator is a bit janky but it worked well enough.
