Days Inn by Wyndham Laurel MS

The door would not open with the card on the first room assigned. The attendant then gave us another room and it was fine until two different people tried to get in our room. Claimed they were assigned our room 203 also.

Bathroom was in need of repairs

Musty smell in the room. Roach bug in bathroom, alive! The ac made annoying noise in room . A/c didn’t work in the hall way on 2nd floor. Staff was nice !

Breakfast person was unhappy being there. Hotel was a little overpriced compared to others.

room was not very clean. bathtub floor did not look clean, shower handles did not look clean. toilet seat had iron stain that kept leaking down like poop onto the toilet seat. everything else was good except for the cleanliness. closet had a sour smell. swimming pool looked infected. it was murky with brown stuff on the pool floor and pool stairs

Breakfast was bad ! Same thing every day.

Chair in room was filthy, socks were getting dirty from carpet and saw a few roaches in room.

The elevator was out of service for a day and a half. Hauling luggage and trekking up and down 2 flights of stairs was not great. The A/C unit had broken louvers on each vent, with food crumbs and bugs inside the air vents. The hair dryer shot sparks and burned up. We returned it to the front desk, that was mostly unattended, and never got a replacement. The pool was closed for the first two days because it was not kept ready for swimming. It had to be chemically shocked to try to restore the water quality, which made it scary to even attempt to swim. How do you not have a pool ready for swimming in late July? Why even advertise a pool if no one can use it? The card reader on the outside of the building did not work. Had to walk all the way around to the front of the hotel just to get in.

The room was musty and smelled. The room was dated which was something I could have looked past but it wasn’t clean. The mirror was streaked, the bathroom floor still had used toilet paper behind the can and bits of what looked like candy. The comforter had small stains and the pictures on the wall had seen better days.

The hotel its self was hot when we first entered. The elevator floor was so sticky that my shoes stuck to the floor like someone had spilt tea or soda and it wasn’t cleaned up. When we made it to the room it smelled like grandmas attic that hadn’t been opened in a while almost like a mildew smell. The walls had stains on them and the bathroom had obviously only been glossed over and not cleaned well because there was a pair of boxers in the floor under the sink area. Made the mistake of opening the fridge that either didn’t work or hadn’t been plugged in for quite some time gag worthy. For the price paid I expected better.

Nothing

The only problem was the door to the pool was broken. The closet door in our room did not close properly.
