We stayed at Hotel Berchielli for five nights in April. We had two rooms between three of us, conveniently located next door to each other on the fifth floor.

Our stay was fantastic. The hotel has an art deco/nouveau atmosphere to it and the staff deliver an old-fashioned quality service which makes it feel very special.

The rooms and bathrooms have everything you need, together with lots of space and the furnishings are beautiful.

Breakfast offers an extensive selection of hot and cold options, meats, cheeses, fish, eggs, cereals, salad, fruit, pastries, juices, teas, coffees - something for everyone. They even wrote my husband's name in the froth of his cappuccino!

Front desk helped with restaurant bookings, cars to and from the airport and luggage storage.

The bar had a good range of drinks and snacks.

The location of the hotel is amazing. There are a couple of entrances, into a small street one way, which leads to other streets, shops and restaurants. The other way straight out onto the river. Everything is within close walking distance, fantastic for exploring.

主要な観光地からも近く便利、リバービューのお部屋でしたので眺めがよく、ロケーションがとても良いです。お部屋は清潔、バスタブもあり疲れが取れ、アメニティやポットなど設備も充分快適でした。朝食の種類は豊富で毎日楽しみでした。個人的には甘いもの好きなので、トスカーナのスィーツのトルタ・デッラ・ノンナが美味しかったです。ホールスタッフの方々の接客が素晴らしく心地いい朝のスタートになりました。

Excellent location, helpful staff, clean and spacious room. Could not fault the stay in any way. Breakfast was delicious too.

Excellent location on the river Arno. Conveniently located for all of the sights and shopping areas of Florence.

Staff were all formally dressed, immaculately turned out and attentive.

It’s a very traditional hotel, with what many might describe as old fashioned decor and furniture but it’s beautiful, immaculate and something of a maze to navigate around!

Beds were comfortable, pillows rather thin and disappointing. On the first night, staff came in to turn down the bed, leave out slippers and switch on lamps, which was welcoming when we returned.

Breakfast is good, though not much variation and it would have been nice to have full fat Greek yoghurt offered, not just low fat.

One other constructive criticism is that we asked for a glass of red wine at the bar upon our return to the hotel on our last night but were given wine from the ‘last bottle that had been opened’. It wasn’t good. It would have been nice to be able to select our own wine.
