The staff was friendly and funny. Had a great time at the Coastal.
Pros:

We had gone to Seattle to see Spamalot. at the 5th Avenue Theater. The theater was just around the corner from the hotel. A very easy walk. The staff upgraded us to a top floor with a wonderful view of Seattle. The breakfast though a little limited had pleanty of scrabled eggs, bacon and sausages along with plenty of fruit juices. Very yummy.

Cons:

Maybe more coffee in the room for the morning. One cup for both my wife and I was not quite enough. Also the duvet cover could have been on the top of the bed instead of under the blanket. as it was the covers were to heavy for a comfortable sleep.

We were here for a competition at the convention center, and everything was in walking distance
Pros:

The staff was very nice and the hotel was very comfortable and clean. Definitely you stay here if you come to Seattle I definitely will be coming back if I’m ever back in Seattle.

Thin walls, doors and windows but good location
Pros:

The location was great. Close enough to walk to pike place market. Also a walking distance away from the monorail and train stations, in case you want to see the space needle and other museums.

Cons:

The window in the room we got were really thin. Im not sure if this is the case for every room, but I could hear everything from outside. You can hear the cars and even the wind from these windows. I was up on the 22nd floor. The door and walls are also not sound proof. I could hear my neighbors closing their curtains and people walking outside the hallway. Would I stay here again? Probably not, the noise from the outside did not allow me to get a good nights sleep.


The hotel staff were kind enough to allow me to change rooms after my first night since the room they assigned me was close to the freeway. The second room was facing a less trafficked area and while the noise did reduce, it was not enough.

Pros:

room, hotel location, price and everything was really great. i did not try the breakfast or food so idk.

Cons:

there was this one girl at the lobby counter she was rude and unwelcoming so that was such a turn off, besides that it was fine. The hotel bedsheet seemed clean but it had this one weird smell when you get in the bed, so cannot really tell if the bedsheets were 100% clean.
