Location of the hotel.
A/C did not work; handheld shower holder was broken; toilet paper holder was missing; musty carpet smell; rubbish bin smelled bad; hand & body lotion bottle was either empty or the pump was broken; kettle switch only worked occasionally; and one hand-towel had a hole in it. The hotel room was dated.
Good vicinity to airport
Room was a long way down the back and with lots of baggage to manoeuvre it made it difficult, particularly when tired.
Shuttle bus was 20 mins late which made our check in late.
Fairly comfortable and easy to reach airport
Fixtures and fittings a bit shabby, bathroom old fashioned. Had to walk miles down corridors. Place was like a rabbit warren. Impersonal staff

Das Hotel war wie ein Bahnhof. Die Einrichtung im Zimmer war teilweise heruntergekommen und es war auch nicht so sauber, wie ich es für ein Hotel in dieser Preisklasse erwartet hätte.

Clean, comfortable rooms. Ideal location for Heathrow Airport with shuttle bus to Terminals 2 & 3 £6.80. Water around the hotel was a lovely touch. Breakfast was superb. Would definitely recommend as a transit hotel before/after flying.
Very busy hotel with a very large number of rooms. This impacts on the availability of parking and considering the cost is £24.00 for 24 hours and we had to park outside of designated spaces as a considerable number of other cars had to. Service in the restaurant was slow and although we were shown to a table the buffet was not explained to us and we only found out having asked.
Nothing the service was so bad , we called at 3pm about an ac not working we heard nothing and it was 10pm they then gave us a fan after 8 hours of waiting

The room was overall clean, quiet, and met all the basic needs for business travel or an airport night before a flight - decent bed, plenty of plugs, decent lighting, large desk, comfortable chair etc. The airport shuttle bus was available for a fee in the morning and was a quick ride to terminals 2 or 3. The breakfast buffet was excellent.
The mini-fridge in our room was desperately needed cleaning - it stank and was warm, rendering it unusable. While it was good to have a restaurant on site available, the dinner was expensive and truly lackluster. The staff pretty much all seemed harried and unhappy, which makes me question the quality of the management.
