Pros:

When we arrived they informed us they were closing. We had bo prior notice. They were no longer had coffee, breakfast and movers were onsite to start moving everything out. The rooms were extremely musty, curtains hanging off from the windows, we had to leave and they refused to refund us the full amount.

Centrally located, near to MDAnderson. Shuttle to hospital was timely and driver was very personable. Was sad to hear they are being sold. No reservations after Dec 21

Medical visit to Houston Medical District
Pros:

The location is very convenient (within Medical District).
Staffs were very friendly and able to answer questions in detail.
The room was clean and comfortable, however, the hotel is a bit dated.

Pros:

Location was good. Close to hospitals and food. Safe area. Hotel was older and could use updates. The room had many things that didn’t work- lights, remotes. We had to change rooms. Then they tried to have someone else check in to our room while we were there. Breakfast was unappealing.

The property was very clean and had good amenities. My room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. Members of the staff were efficient, welcoming, and very pleasant. I was very pleased with my stay and would choose to return if I have an opportunity in the future.

No hot breakfast
Pros:

On the website if offers continental breakfast, but this time it did offered waffles, oatmeal, yogurt, cold cereal and pastries, but I've stayed there before many times but this time there were no hot eggs, bacon, biscuits or sausage. It did offer wrapped eggs, sausage, cheese that you can put in the microwave. I was disappointed. The staff there was so friendly.

See thru bathroom doors leave no mystery.
Pros:

Hot water took forever to come on, I had to run the shower for almost 10 minutes before I could feel a temp change from cold. The bathroom door is translucent to the point where you can def see peoples bodies when in the bathroom. This makes it really uncomfortable when traveling with people whom A) are not your family and you do not have an intimate relationship with them or B) the door was just blocking the entrance to the bathroom so all sounds were apparent and leaves no mystery (see issue A) and lastly C) when parents are traveling with children of opposite gender I.e., the soccer tournament for which we were staying at the hotel - adults and kids alike are relegated to specific parts of a hotel room or non entry while the bathroom is in use.

If you really need a place to sleep…
Pros:

Pretty rundown property. The main bedroom was okay, but the bathroom, fridge, curtains, and microwave were of the 80s. Also, unfriendly staff, flickering hallway lights, and buckets set up to catch drips from the ceiling made me feel uncomfortable. Jacuzzi was out of order. Also, why did housekeeping knock on my door at 9am when checkout is 11? Not a good experience. At least the bed was comfortable.
