A random man was knocking on our room door trying to get my daughter to open up the door. Shortly after housekeeping asked her did she know the man.

Very nice place to stay near downtown houston.
Pros:

The spacious room, washroom, nice breakfast and accommodating staff.

Cons:

Nothing..just not much eating options around..you gotta do uber eats

Pleasant stay in a nice to be discovered city
Pros:

Jin is fantastic! She gave us great advice on what to explore in Houston!

The hotel is 10mins walking from Gray St. where you can find a good bunch of restaurants and bars. We went at Josephine’s where we had delicious fish.

The walking distance to downtown is 20 mins.

Houston is a very nice city, we spent 2 full days, one at Nasa and one exploring downtown, its graffiti, the art deco, the museum district and a quick visit to the centre of photography (you need uber).

Pros:

Upon check-in, I was surprised to be charged for a deposit. I was given my key card but received no information about breakfast or other hotel facilities. There was also no information material in the room.

Furthermore, the room did not have a kitchen or kitchenette, which was included in my reservation.

At check-out, I did not receive my deposit back. It has now been one week, and I still have not gotten my money back.

I would like Booking.com to help me get my deposit refunded.
