We went to a party the night of our stay and did not get to the hotel till almost 2:00 in the morning. I always call in advance and only stay at properties that do not use fragrances or fragrance laundry detergents or fabric softeners because I have asthma. I've never had a problem with this with an IHG property before and when I spoke with the staff before we booked the hotel they said they do not use any fragrances. When I got there I thought a man was wearing cologne in the elevator but then I realized they heavily sent the hallways with something that smells like a very strong cologne. They told me they didn't tell me because it wasn't in the room as if you couldn't smell the hallway from the room. But the smell permeates right under the door and straight into the room as if the room is filled with cologne. I explained this to the person at the desk and they said they could not respond my money and I would have to speak to a manager. The manager was very nice but needed all of my medical records in order to give me a refund. He said he was able to give me the refund but I have not seen it yet on my Expedia account. If I go through all the trouble to make sure that a hotel that I'm staying at understands my needs and they tell me everything is fine and I go there and have to leave a half hour later and I have to work so hard for a refund I will not be staying at that hotel anymore.

The hotel was very clean and the rooms were clean and fresh. The staff was great and were always friendly, polite, and helpful. Conveniently located to the LIE/I495 or of Long Island’s main thoroughfares for travel.

Check in process was great and the room was perfect!

Great location while visiting family.

My stay was pleasant. All were clean to my taste. Clothe ironing not working was quickly replaced. I was able to manage with ironing board not working by placing it flat on the bed. It appears to be broken.
All was well done.

Great location and staff

Stayed first night without a car. We ate in their adjacent restaurant, food was great! Stopped in the gas station convent mart for some things. The shuttle brought us to Islip to get a car to go visit family. My son said the gym was decent. There were many snack options both in the lobby & on the second floor when we went for ice.

I’ve got pictures of the long bugs that were in the room and either the cleaning staff was eating Doritos or the room was not cleaned well! Will never stay at this location again

Everything was great. Front desk staff was warm and inviting. Rooms were clean. Beds are comfy. Would definitely recommend.

They were very accommodating to our request for early today. Check out was easy and fast
