Vybavení velice staré, zasloužilo by si renovaci.

I am a very frequent traveller and have stayed in hundreds of hotels. Let me tell you about my experience at Hotel Vittoria in Milan.
First, you should know this hotel opened in 1964 and it looks like nothing has changed since then. There is clutter everywhere from the front desk, with boxes, papers, dry shampoo and junk all over the place. The downstairs breakfast area is dusty, extremely cluttered with knick knacks and tacky decorations everywhere. And the breakfast was terrible. Dried up scrambled eggs, bacon that looked like it was steamed, warm juice, stale pastries, it goes on and on…..
Our room smelled like poop when we first got in, though that went away. We would have switched hotels, but were there for the Olympics and Milan hotels were full.
The icing on the cake, however, is the night we were locked out of our room until after 4 am because the electronic lock stopped working. Fortunately they called their maintenance person in, but it ruined our entire next day and we missed planned morning activities.
I am grateful that they fixed the problem, but then the door wouldn’t close properly, and we came back to our room with the door ajar. (We figured out that if we slam the door, it closes).
But what really earned this hotel this one star rating is the fact that not once did we receive an apology for the inconvenience, and my request for compensation (one complimentary night out of three nights we stayed there) was rejected.
This is not a four star hotel at all. Not in service, not in appearance, not in the lack of respect for their guests.
Their response was literally “we fixed the issue for you so we won’t compensate you.”
Stay far away from this place. It was my worst hotel experience in my 52 years on earth.
Have been a regular at this hotel for many years, usually for a day before and a day after a Trade show in Rimini. This time on the "before" occasion a I stayed at a different hotel, closer to the downtown area for a similar price. There was a clear difference between the standards, service and offering, with the Vittoria being noticebly older and tired in furnishings and connectivity, beds and room presentaion and size.
Exquisite design and style, delicious breakfast with high-quality products, hospitable and assistive personel
Piano was not working
Amabilitatea personalului, locatia excelenta

Location. Staff.
Rooms appeared larger online. Room size was extremely small.
It was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, we were met with a warm welcome that immediately made us feel at home. The hotel itself is richly decorated with an elegant taste. While the rooms are small but cozy, they are thoughtfully designed, inviting peaceful retreat after a day of exploration. The hotel is situated within easy walking distance of major attractions and with excellent transport links- 25 minutes to Duomo.
A standout feature was the friendly attitude of the entire staff, especially Alberto at reception. He exceptionally kind, provided perfect direction to the city landmarks and restaurants. In short, this hotel combines comfort, character, and superb service.
