Great for a short stay in Florence
Pros:

We enjoyed our stay in Hotel Pendini. The room was lovely with a view over the Plaza della Repubblica, where there's always something going on. Breakfast was enjoyable but naturally a little limited. Because of the great location you are surrounded by coffee shops, bars, restaurants and of course the beautiful sights of Florence, so the hotel works well as a comfortable base.

A Brilliant Stay in the Centre of Florence
Pros:

We had a lovely stay at Hotel Pendini this week - firstly, the location is fantastic and so handy to see Florence. The rooms are boutique style and really clean and well decorated with all the amenities that you would need. We were checked in early and found the breakfast super tasty and well managed. For a hotel that faces onto one of the main squares in Florence, it was really quiet. Absolutely no issues with noise. Rooms are good value, especially when considering the tasty breakfast and the location. The staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome and appear to really love working there. Special mention to the housekeeper Evelyn who was a delight and Shirley who managed the breakfast room and was a ray of sunshine each morning.

Complete gem
Pros:

What a fabulous find! We stayed in a family suite which was perfect for us with our 2 teenaged girls. Location could not be better. Beautiful old building but updated to make it suitable for a modern visitor. Air con was a blessing! Very good breakfast, really friendly/helpful staff. Will definitely be back next time we visit our favourite city!
