Premier séjour très agréable au Canada.
Pros:

Pros:

breakfast had lots of things if you can eat gluten and dairy, but if you're allergic to those, it is harder. They had two GF sweet breads and fruit that I could eat. If they had kept eggs and hashbrowns separate instead of in a wrap, that would have been better.

Cons:

cost was much higher than I thought for a comparable hotel

After a long flight, this hotel was a quiet respite to rest and recharge.
Pros:

Location was quiet, and easy to locate and close to a large shopping mall and ferry terminal

Cons:

We paid extra for breakfast, but honestly it wasn’t worth it. Would recommend they include hot items like a DIY waffle maker and a toaster.

Very nice place to stay and perfect location for the activities we chose..
Pros:

Breakfast there was not like breakfast we have had anywhere else. Most hotels have mass cooked scrambled eggs or potatoes or maybe sausage links. This place had seasonal food — the sweetest freshest blueberries we have ever eaten in our lives. OMG! We thought all the fresh fruit was sort of a weird thing for breakfast, but we thoroughly enjoyed it and went back for seconds with those berries. When we got back to the states and had the traditional breakfast at the next place, we were pretty let down after enjoying all the fresh fruit up in the Tsawwassen hotel. They also did have some rolls and some sort of little egg bite which I didn’t care for. My husband enjoyed having a bowl of yogurt with his blueberries mixed in. I’m not a yogurt fan, but I sure enjoyed the blueberries and peaches by themselves. We did not walk out hungry. So we’ll have to be sure to plan our trip back next summer about the same time to be in the blueberry season. We still talk about the berries and the breakfast there. We’ve never talked about breakfast at other places once we check out but Tsawwassen inn really got five stars for the fresh seasonal fruit for breakfast. And both of us being diabetic really benefited from not being tempted with pancakes or waffles or all kinds of unhealthy carbs. We ate better and felt better up there. I really thought my husband was going to miss not making a waffle, but he was very content with the fresh fruit and the yogurt. I have no idea what a winter breakfast would be like up there, but the summer breakfast was absolutely awesome, the best ever!

Cons:

I’m trying to think what I didn’t like about the Tsawwassen Inn. Parking was underground and well lit so not creepy. There were two elevators to get you down there so no waiting. Our room had a teeny tiny balcony with a couple of chairs and small table that you could sit out and look at the view of the neighborhood. However, the step up to get to the balcony was too high for my physical issues, so we just left the balcony doors open at night to enjoy the fresh air. The shower was very nice. The toilet was a comfort height toilet, which was good because that’s what I need for my current disabilities. There were no grab bars, but everything was close enough together and small enough. I didn’t really need that. When we walked in the door of our room from the hallway we walked into a small living room with a table and chair and a coffee table and a couch and a TV. And then go through the doorway and there’s the refrigerator and coffee machine and across from that in the hallway is the bathroom sink and counter and mirrors. And then a little doorway just that after that would be the shower and the toilet area. The toilet area was a bit cramped. The toilet and the door were real close to each other as you open and close the door. And then when you get through that little hallway, there’s the bedroom with a lovely bed and another TV and that balcony. So it was awesome. We have never had a room like that. It was almost like a suite. So not knowing if every room is like that we might ask for that same room next time we go up there. The staff at the Tsawwassen Inn were awesome people. Everybody was helpful. Nothing got ignored and they always had friendly smiles to make us feel very welcome. They were very professional. We met some of the housekeeping staff who were just the sweetest people ever. The location is close to our planned activities.

Worth it for us.
Pros:

The breakfasts were very good with a wide variety of offerings. The rooms were large and very clean with comfortable beds. On site free parking was very appreciated. The on site restaurant was very good.

Cons:

It’s a little far out from the majority of Vancouver’s attractions and with the traffic that was annoying but overall worth it to us.
