Older motel right by the interstate. Its outward appearance isn’t appealing but the rooms have been updated and they don’t allow nasty smoking anymore. It’s not bad for a night or two. No loud noise in the parking lot. Not very many people stay so you don’t have a lot of people to deal with in the parking lot that usually comes with a motel setting. You can walk to Big John’s restaurant, Popeyes, and circle k.

Had to change rooms cause management didn’t wanna fix smoke alarm in our room then moved us to a room that smelled like mood and the microwave didn’t work and the phone was not

Had a non smoking room but could smelll cigarette smoke in the room had to buy air freshener to cover smell, there was a light missing from ceiling and just wires hanging! The bed was very comfortable and housecleaning did a great job cleaning

Covers wasn’t clean, there was a musty mildew smell in the room and the outside Area wasn’t clean.

It has recently been repainted on the inside of the rooms and furniture updated. The mattress was very comfortable. Breakfast was suspended for Covid and never was brought back. The main building is intact but the second building has burned rooms so is abandoned but still standing. The pool looked to be abandoned. The girl at check in was nice and accommodating. Truck parking is very spacious. There are two restaurants and a gas station to walk to. It’s right beside the interstate so there are plenty of options close by. There are only two motels in Rayville. This one has truck parking and Days inn doesn’t. Overall it’s not a bad place for an older motel.

I did not stay the room was nasty with multiple dead roaches, dirty and a couple of fire hazards.

Owner came into my room unannounced wanted me to leave & unaware of my rebook .. I was humiliated & disrespected

The rooms have been updated cosmetically and are super cute. The bed was soft and it was very clean. The air conditioning unit left a lot to be desired and it was stifling in my room

The AC unit leaked into the room. We were given empty ice buckets for catchment. Every night the buckets overflowed so you woke to a soaked floor.
Also asked for a Do Not Disturb sign and they don't exist here.
A positive is that the housekeepers were kind and helpful.

There are two buildings one’s roof is caving in, The drive way is gravel. The parking lot is gravel. It is literally the worse looking facility for a hotel I’ve ever seen. This is an awful property with no redeeming qualities visible. We left after circling the property one time. There is no way we were going to stay there!

No breakfast available as advertised.

The check in experience i was greeted by someone who said "who you call" when checking in. I figured it had to be my name she was asking for. She didn't ask for my id and gave me my room key. When entering the room the bed comforter had holes in it from cigarette burns and there's some stains on some of the under sheets. We give 1 star because we didn't get bed bugs

They stated the property had recently been renovated. Most definitely NOT. The only things they did during their "remodel" was change light fixtures, end tables, desk and removed the microwave. Still dirty, holes in walls, nicotine caked on everything in the room etc. I did take photos if someone wants to contact me I will gladly send them

Room was clean. Facilities and area property was old.
