Pool was closed. No outside seating available except in pool area and that area was fenced and locked.

During my quick check-in, I asked for a room with a view. Very pleasant lady was accommodating and, even though I have had a hip replacement and can't navigate stairs very well, she explained there was a 2nd story room in the back that was accessible by walking down a short hallway on the ground level to the back of the building to the second floor rooms. The view was beautiful out of my window. Restaurants and stores are very close. The college and the downtown area are just down the street. I ate at a great little restaurant, 19 North Seafood & Grill, which was 1.4 miles away.
No negatives. For the price, it was a great place to stay for a night.
It was pet friendly
They advertise free breakfast and that isnt true. The pool water was green. The room was dirty and the bathroom smelled awful. The coffee and creamer packs were very old and disgusting. It is right beside McDonald's so you can hear the orders and the light shines through the windows
They didn’t have breakfast when we were there because they only do breakfast on weekends. That was the only negative thing about the whole place. Beautiful views and great value!
Breakfast served every day. My son was going to the Appalachian trail, and I wish he could have started the day off with a good breakfast

Breakfast is advertised on the picture of the location as well as the message that is sent once booking for the weekend. There is no breakfast. When traveling, this is one thing I poc a location for the cut costs. Housekeeping knocked and entered right away at 9am not allowing time to get to the door, DND sign was not available. Noise of car alarms, radios blaring at 5:30am, this is not the fault of the hotel.

The price was decent for the location. I walked to the fireworks show and it wasn't terrible but was farther than realized.
It felt like I was going to fall through the tub when I was taking a shower. You can tell the building is just old.
It said there was breakfast snacks, and coffee on Saturday and Sunday. There absolutely was not.

I also do not recall the website saying there was additional fees for pets. I thought it only said pet friendly. Found out when I got there that there was a fee

Very little amenities, very little coffee and fixings, no continental breakfast, and directions into the location were not easy to find and there was no clear signage on how to locate or enter.
