Our room location was great. Close to self service area.
Inadequate ice maker.
I really enjoyed the vintage decor and the bar. The drinks and food were amazing.
I have no complaints.
The property was everything I had hoped for. I wanted to kids to stay somewhere special. This was definitely it. I only wish we had gotten in earlier so we could check everything out. I will definitely plan another trip there. Staff were accommodating and attentive.
Beautiful old hotel in downtown. Room was clean. Shower was nice and hot with plenty of pressure. Beds were comfortable. Beautiful old furniture in the rooms. Bar had food, drinks, deserts, and music. Staff was friendly.
Not much to do close by.
The Grand Hotel is a real gem! I needed a place to stay while visiting relatives and discovered this lovely old fashioned hotel in downtown Hogansville. It exceeded my expectations in every way. I would highly recommend it. It was very clean. The beautiful backyard was also a nice place to relax. Be aware that you must carry your luggage upstairs, as there is no elevator.
Charming
No staff on site on weekends.
Unexpected GEM!!!!
My wife and I stayed one night at The Grand Hotel in Hogansville before heading to Atlanta, and it was the perfect stopover.
The room was spacious with a very comfortable bed; exactly what we needed after a day of travel.
We enjoyed an excellent meal and drinks downstairs in the charming bar/restaurant area before retiring for the night.
The next morning, Alter Coffee was the perfect spot for breakfast. It’s just a short walk from the hotel and made for a delicious, convenient start to our day.
The location is ideal; just an hour from Atlanta destination, but without all the city noise and traffic.
Overall, The Grand offered excellent value, especially compared to the much higher prices we saw in Atlanta, while delivering beautiful historic charm, modern comforts, and warm Southern hospitality.
Hogansville is such a cozy little town with a relaxed, friendly vibe. We would 100% stay here again and highly recommend The Grand for anyone looking for a unique, comfortable boutique stay. It’s a real gem!
We enjoyed a relaxing evening on the enclosed bar porch. The drinks were good as well as heavy appetizers—roast beef sliders, chicken bacon flatbread and shrimp cocktail. A very peaceful courtyard and gazebo for sitting and relaxing. We like the downstairs room right off the bar. Very spacious with a comfortable king size bed and a huge open shower-handicap accessible. The bar sounds and easy listening music are heard distantly but are not offensive and end promptly at 11.
Couldn't have chosen a better place for our trip. Great location, beautiful town, fell in love with the atmosphere, and the most helpful staff ever. The room was stylish and well-equipped.
I loved everything about the stay and the authenticity to the building and town they stayed true to.
The Grand Hotel is an awesome old hotel. Room 2 is very large and has direct access to the balcony where you can watch the cars (and train) go by. The staff (Melannie) was wonderfully tolerant of my constantly changing arrival times. We'll be back!
We recently stayed at the Historic Grand Hotel in Hogansville, GA for a girls weekend, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. The staff was incredibly competent, helpful, and genuinely kind throughout our stay.
Melanie’s thoughtful text messages prior to our arrival made everything seamless and stress-free, setting the tone for a relaxing getaway. When we arrived, Jessica went above and beyond by offering to help carry our bags up to the second floor—such a small gesture that made a big impression.
Honestly, I don’t think the team could have done anything more to make our stay more enjoyable. We felt welcomed, cared for, and truly appreciated as guests. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a charming and hospitable place to stay!
I love the historical hotel with the beautiful furnishings and elegance. If you arrive early enough you can eat at the market cafe next door.
No elevator so you have to carry suitcases upstairs. Limited food menu in the bar
This was our second time at the Grand----and both times, we had a wonderful experience. Facility was clean, staff was friendly and courteous, food was delicious----an overall pleasant experience. And being able to walk across the street to the concert at the Royal is so convenient! We look forward to our next visit!
Stylish and old fashioned
Small bar with excellent drinks
The Grand Hotel has an old history and they have managed to keep the old time feeling while renovating the premises. The beds were very comfortable and their staff was very friendly.
The railway runs through the town and the trains all blow their horns when passing, which can be heard in the rooms.
Beautiful little boutique hotel. Room was excellent and the hotel in general was well kept in the era which it was built. A nice wrap around balcony. The dowtown area needs a little sprucing up and the restaurant choices are limited, but we found an excellent pizza shop one block away that we were very pleased with.
