Absolutely nothing!
The front desk clerk canceled my reservation that I made online, and then wouldn't price match so I had to pay $5 more. Then after charging my card for the room he states that I have to pay a $75 security deposit for the room also. I don't understand why he didn't mention the security deposit upfront before I made any payment, and also why it didn't mention anything about it when I made the reservation online either. Being low on funds was the whole reason I made the reservation thru booking.com in the first place and no where did it state anything about additional fees. I didn't have the $75 security deposit and wasn't able to get the room at all and since he hurried up and ran my card already the only money I did have to get a room somewhere else was now going to be held for 1-2 business days. Leaving me without a room and no money. This place is shit, don't book online they won't honor the price since it's significantly cheaper thru sites such as booking.com and BTW they weren't any help either so they both are shit and I will never use them again!
Checking out in the morning. The staff was very friendly.
It was oppressively hot in the entire hotel, and it took until after midnight for our room to get to a comfortable temperature. Our room had stains on the curtains, couch, and floor, along with a random spot on the carpet that was damp and sticky.

No microwave in room and was told I would get one but never did and leaking ceiling in bathroom and breakfast was same thing everyday waffles and cereal
Night clerk charged my card without asking me how I would like to pay and did not give us a receipt. Next morning someone else has to correct the issue.
Location: Fort Dodge.
Atmosphere: Smelled musty in the lobby when checking in, very dirty carpeting at front desk.
Employees: Check-in person was nice, but hard to understand his language.
Room: The logistics of the room was very awkward with a wall between the two beds and each with a flat-screen TV, (one of which did not work) and each with it's own window A/C.
Value: Beware, you get what you pay for.
The toilet had items in it which looked like drugs to me. We were at the end of a hallway on the 2nd floor, with the back door down the stairs at the end of the 1st floor hall. You were supposed to use your key to get in, but the door was always open.
We went with friends, and they were so disgusted by the dirtiness of their bathroom they checked out and went to a neighboring town for the night. I do not recommend this Days Inn at all!!

Bathroom floor was dirty, bathroom door stuck and door knob ready to come off, bathroom sink had no stopper
Days Inn serves breakfast, always has coffee and have clean rooms.

The location and the price
The place seemed unclean. Litter on the ground and the bathroom floor was dirty. I mentioned it to the front desk but nothing was done. The walls were dirty with boogers visibly flicked on them
